The Spirit.

'Nuff said.

Oh wait-- I almost forgot about Eragon. Shitty cinematography, cinderblock-grade acting, a drivel of a script adapted from an original work which barely passed the border of acceptable, and the guy from The Chronicles of Narnia. I don't know what it is about that guy, but I can't enjoy any film he's in.

Oh, and Saphira had feathers.

A DRAGON.

WITH FEATHERS.
What's weird about a mythical fictional firebreathing flying lizard creature having feathers?

Rob Zombie's Halloween. Pretty bad when the entire theater is riffing on it by the last fifteen minutes. Such a predictable movie after a completely unnecessary beginning about Michael Myer's past that we didn't want to know about.
I kind of wanted to know about it. I enjoyed it for what it was.

Eragon. It wasn't that bad (I don't go to theatres a lot), but it sure was Cliché-y. It's a little like Star Wars' story in a LotR setting.

Okay, I'm going to list the things in the story that resemble the things of Star Wars' story.

SPOILER WARNING:

-The land is ruled by the evil king Galbatorix.

-Eragon is a farmboy who is to become a dragon rider. They were "the keeper's of peace" who vanished some time ago (coughjedicough)

-In the village there is an older man, Brom, who is later to be revealed as a dragon rider (even though it's easy to guess).

-After his Uncle is killed by the minions of the evil king of the land (Damn, Eragon sees his house and rides there even though Brom shouts something like "don't go there, it's dangerous"), he leaves the village with Brom to kill the evil king. First the try to find a rebel base.

-On the journey Brom teaches Eragon to fight and use magic (obi wancough cough cough)

-They go in a fortress of the enemy to save a woman. There Brom sacrfices himself to save Eragons life (though he dies later in his wounds).

-They find the Rebel base, and of course Galbatorix' army has followed them. Then comes a big fight (which doesn't really resemble the Death Star figh very much) which the good guys of course wins and the film ends.

SPOILERS END

Huh, that was much.
How long did it take you to figure that out? Or are you just sharing it now?

Watchmen, that movie was shit
Oh come on. Seriously, what makes you think this post is acceptable? "Shit" contributes nothing to the thread. Tell us why. Get some discussion going.

Sorry to single you out, I know this thread (this forum) is full of this kind of no-content post, you're just conveniently here (that, and I really liked Watchmen. Sure, it waters down the comic book, but it's still got the psychologically damaged characters with their utterly twisted moralities)
The only way to make the movie passable to the people that had never heard of the book was to
water it down, and throw in a nice sex scene.
I got to see Rorschach and the Comedian so I was happy.

I know this one's trendy to pick on, but... I hated Origins:Wolverine so bad. One of the worst parts was (and again I'm going with the trendy example...) Gambit's dissapearing accent. And the absolute worst (dammit, I'm still just reiterating everyone else's complaints) was what they did to Deadpool.

Die Another Day.

I usually love Bond films but it was just so boring.

And don't get me started on that invisible car, who the hell thought that one up?
I might add an invisible car that didn't actually do what it was supposed to do. Last time I checked it projected what was on the other side of it to make it look invisible. Which gave us a not so funny scene involving a not to terribly amusing walk by John Cleese. And I totally come off as Comic Book Guy right now.
But hell.

No, no. No. Oh no. Sorry. The worst part was how they completely forgot about James actual origin. (yeah I was expecting more from the comic book they made of his origin story)
I know it was X-men Origins: Wolverine. But I kind of expected the movie to be about the title character. And not... every one else... oh and Wolverine who does nothing at all.

LOL, If you read the book, you would expect that, but the movie STILL managed to butcher the book, which despite it's many flaws I still enjoyed.
The book butchered literature. I don't care how old the kid was who wrote it. I've read fan fiction that was more entertaining than that Star Wars knock off.

The only movie that actually made me think that I'd be better off just leaving the theater was Team America. Just so overdone.
Were you expecting something else from the creators of South Park?

Well, I noticed it when I saw it, but shared here when I discovered this thread. It's rather impossible to do it before.

Epic Movie. It was just so shit!
Indiana Jones 4. It was a good movie until a certain event near the end of the movie. Involving UFO's, and ruining the movie completely.
X-men Origins: Wolverine. I wasn't expecting much from it but I was so bored, nothing interesting happened for like 40 mins (when they finally put the admantium into him) but it got boring about two minutes later. Anytime it got close to becoming interesting some crappy cheesy fight decided to start.
That's kind of weird because Indiana Jones 4 was never a good movie.

The Day the Earth Stood Still.

The entire movie just felt like being force fed a bad tasting morality cookie that I should recycle and care more about the enviroment...
That was kind of the point of the original movie too. I was rooting for the Aliens actually.

The god damned Wicker Man

not Wicker Man, which i saw later and was good and had christopher lee in drag.

No, I mean The Wicker Man, which made NO sense, no plot direction, a pointless hard-on for bees, and the mopey sad-faced acting of mr. nick cage.

the only thing worth seeing in it it the climax where cage has his legs horribly broken, and is hoisted up to his hollow in the pyre, whereupon we the viewer hear his shrieking in agony for several minutes before he dies. and even this bit is ruined by tacking on another scene right after it
He totally kicked a woman in the chest, and punched out old ladies and stuff. That movie was so bad it was hilarious.

Since I only contributed one movie to this thread, and then decided to be a complete ass to everyone else I've decided to add more.

Hostel was crap. The violence in it just made me feel detached. The only time I was happy was at the end when the gang of kids killed the bad guys. Mutilated chick tosses herself in front of a train as a distraction. Peh. Bad movie is bad.

I want to say Batman and Robin as well, but me and my sister decided to enjoy it our own way and spent the entire time talking to the screen. We went all MST3K on that movie's ass.

I don't see any Uwe Boll movies on here. I'm sure someone was stupid enough to purchase a ticket right?

Deadpools origin is still kind of dodgy. We know he was experimented on. I want to see if they use this Deadpool in the eventual movie or if they go a different direction.
And I'll never understand why people seem to have such a hard on for Gambit.
