Toe, meet radiator.
Stubbing of the toe is always one of the worst pains imaginable. I have dislocated shoulders, broken legs and ribs but it is toe stubbing that always comes to mind first.

An special mention goes to urine infections.....they bloody hurt.

I had meningitis about six years ago (I actually almost died). The sickness didn't hurt, as I felt like I had a really bad flu. I also had stroke-like symptoms and couldn't speak clearly. It was gibberish coming out. I tried to say something like "Can you get my wallet before we go" and it came out "The certificate is in the place by the sky". It was weird. I could hear myself saying these things, but I couldn't make myself say it right.

Anyway, that didn't hurt.

What DID hurt was the spinal tap they gave me when they were trying to diagnose what I had. That hurt REALLY fucking bad.
what kind of meningitis was it
See above (whoops)

I was at an anime convention, and by my own stupid luck, I managed to fall really hard. Gave myself a 'pre-patellar hematoma' (basically a bruise caused by the kneecap slamming into the flesh around it) and sprained my knee horribly.

It was so painful, I don't even really remember the better part of the time between when I did it and when I went back to work 4 days later.

I've never been in terrible pain, just the odd broken bone. But I guess it will have hurt more when I was younger (I've had broken bones since this time) but I broke my leg at my 6th birthday party. I was young so I probably made it out to be more than it was, but it was still broken.

when I was 7 I slipped over and fell onto a plate and it smashed. I got VERY badly cut.
So badly in fact that it left a 7 inch scar on my knee and It also chipped my knee bone.
It hurt like a *****.

I was in the Navy, A 35 pound counter weight was dropped on my foot when deployed on my submarine.

Later my foot felt like it had glass in it when i ran. 7 years later out of the navy, The VA hospital finally admitted the military screwed up my foot.

I was put under, and the doctor cut my foot in the center from end of middle toe to beginning of my ankle. Cut through soft tissue, muscle, then cut the front of my second metotarsol (sp?) and started to scoop out the bone marrow with what can be describe as a mini icecream scoop.

I woke up while he was scooping in full pain and awareness of what was happening. I had the worth pain ever to the point it was just ankle up, and anything in the foot was such a flood of pain I couldn't pin down where on the foot it hurt. He continues to scoop a full minute and a half before I was put under again.

Then I woke up a second time to the same.

Needless to say on many painkillers for a few weeks and the foot still hurts like hell.

When i was in year 2 i slept on a bunk bed which sat next to my window. One night while i was going to bed for some stupid reason i climbed up the ladder and thought i might stand up and because the bed wobbled i fell back into the window and cut my back. I had 38 stitches....i guess it was ok cause i got to spend a week in hospital and got another week off school.
