a year or so back during the summer I went on a hiking trip up a mountain trail with a youth group... it was a pretty easy climb for the most part so we didn't bring any real gear... when the path did get rough though it was probably the most scared I've ever been... imagine being on an incredibly slippery shale slope and if you fall there was nothing to stop you and you'd fall like 20 feet onto pure mountain rock. Well I fell, started doing cartwheels down the hill fell of the edge and then those 20 feet down... who on earth knows how I didn't break anything but I was in such incredible pain I was sure that I would've caused an avalanche with my screams if I hadn't blacked out
I (sort of) feel your pain. Fell down a slope doing cross country last week. I was running down it, trying to stop myself but I just kept picking up speed, and eventually I fell and rolled down the hill before face planting the dirt. Apparently it was the funniest thing my friend has ever seen.

So we have had our physical pain... How about some emotional pain?

I took accutane.

40mg for my first month, 20mg for my second.. 40/20 for my third.. 80mg for the last two...

Edit: I also nearly had a heart attack for taking 450mg of ibuprofen..

when I broke my wrist riding my bike, probably. I was traveling down a steep hill, stopped looking where i was going, hit a crack in the sidewalk, went flying 3 ft. I didn't think there was anything wrong, i pushed myself up, and my wrist literally caved in backwards as i pushed. Luckily I wasn't by myself, i probably wouldn't have been able to call 911 or my parents.

No, they kicked me quite alot when I was on the floor. Had to use one arm to fend them off. (Seriously.)

They fracturated all of the fingers in my left arm and gave me a nice gaping head wound, but they didn't hurt that much.

Pfff, look at me. I sound quite macho.

I got hurt by the search button too. It's okay to be afraid.
That thread was made sometime last year. Plus, I don't particularly care.
uh it was made dec 31... and it's most recent update was two weeks ago.

In all seriousness though, there are no rules against it being this far apart. This is a forum, not a court of law.
You have last word syndrome don't you?

Once I also was maced in the eye; directly in the eye. That hurts SO bad. So much worse than being tazer'd

No, I just generally dislike people who point out that others falter for a particular purpose, for no real reason.

I usually don't start arguments either, and if I do, I know when I've lost one.

Cut my finger on a PC componant when I was re-building my comp.
Had my step-father when I was young throw me into a door casing, several years later, my knee suffered a bit of a painful issue... Thankfully after he threw me into a door casing, he beat me because I dented the casing.... I guess it was my fault for not being able to dodge. Stupid 10 year olds.
What? More? Ok, when I was young, my first job was Burger King, and I was cleaning the fryers, and someone turned them on "accidently"(Read: Thought it would be funny). My arms were in the fryer when they lit, and the gloves I wore caught on fire... On the plus side, the burns on the hands were first degree. My arms have a few scars though.

I've been living with a broken pelvis (2.5centimeter diastasis pubic symphysis/pelvic instability - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diastasis_symphysis_pubis) for two years now. Incredible pain through the day, hurts to sit, hurts to walk, hurts to stand, hurts to lie down. I'll be having surgery to fix it soon, which involves joining the bones back together with a metal plate in the front and screws in the back. Then 6 weeks of recovery, using a walker.
Yeah, it sucks.

I dislocated my left shoulder while playing Ice Hockey at our National under 23's tournament.

I put it back in when I got back to the bench, this was the first game of the tourny. I didn't miss a single game, and dislocated it another two times for my trouble.

Yep, that hurt.

Edit: In the future make sure someone strong is putting it back in, otherwise it can take a while like it did for you. Mine went straight back in, and I played the rest of the game.

Thats just, bad. I think this is the first time I've actually felt sorry for someone I don't personally know.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

The evidence clearly contradicts the claim, your honor. Lol, just messing with you.

I had my wisdom teeth cut out. I then found out that vicoden makes me somewhat nauseous and I could hardly use it.

I've got some genetic thing that causes one of the vertebrae in my back to be broken off from the bone that holds it in place, so it was slowly sliding towards my stomach since I was a kid. I started to feel it when I was in cross country, but I ignored it, figuring I was just being a pansy. It finally got to the point where if I stayed in any one position for too long it hurt like a _itch, so I went in to the doctor and he explained all this to me. He told me I'm screwed too, unless I get surgery, and since I don't trust them messing around with my spine, I get to deal with physical therapy for... the rest of my life. Sorry about the whining, it has been getting to me lately. The Vicodin they gave me has been nice though... :)

This is a little off topic, but can you click yours? After what happened to mine, if I move it in a certain way while applying preasure with my hand it cracks, rather loudly.

Cool party trick I suppose.

Breaking both arms and legs and hurting my neck and having steel nails in my arms and legs to fix the problem.

I don't know why, but I often get these random pains in my legs. Not growing pains, if that's what you're thinking, or monthly pains (not the werewolf kind, either.) One day I has to stay home though, it was so bad.. I wanted to chop my legs off. Two days later, when they were done being annoying, they were incredibly stiff due to being flexed, stretched, massaged, etc. from before.

But I've never broken any bones or even sprained anything..

Mine doesn't exactly click...it sort of crunches. Applying pressure makes no difference at all.
