Three ruptured disks and rotator cuff tears in both shoulders all at the same time. It sucked majorly. Pain killers didn't do anything for the pain and made me nauseous. And I couldn't sleep for more than a few minutes at a time without waking up from stab of pain.

But that was seven years ago and I have a tooth ache today as well. I think pain in your head is worse in general because it is so much harder to ignore (and it throbs nicely in time with my heartbeat, like a little extra added bonus...).

I want to say 3 different thing that have happened to me over the course of my memory.

1) When I was 4 (yeah 4 years old I cant remember the pain but I assume it was painful) I was running in my house and happened to miss a turn a ran strait into a corner of a wall that was jagged as it had rocks in it for ascetic reasons. From that hit I cut my forehead from side to side and getting the stitches and having them removed.

2) A couple of months ago 6-7 I was in a Games Workshop playing Warhammer 40K and a guy from across the table (about 10 feet long) was flicking a flame template which is a plastic cone shaped object and while flicking it at me snapped and nailed me right above my left eye on the eyelid apparently I went pale from the shock and later realization that 4cm could have cost me my left eye sight.

3) When I was 14 I had this disease called Shingles and what it did was cause this rash along my entire midsection on my right side that hurt like I was being stabbed any time anything touched it and it lasted for a week. It literally meant I could not sit in a chair and lean back I couldn't even sleep unless I was on 1 side even after painkillers it was terrible.

The first time I rode a bike, I smashed into a wall. Now I can imagine it'd probably hurt a great deal more if I had testicles, but even so, having a bicycle seat slammed into your crotch is very painful. I think I actually broke my hymen from that crash. I was at school camp, and the PE teacher couldn't stop laughing at me when I told him where I was hurt.

My dog bit quite deep into my hand. Scars are cool, but ones that are just a white dot in the middle of your hand are not really worth it.

I have Trigeminal Neuralgia so that. Not so much a memory though unfortunately.
Apparantly this is regarded as the most painful thing known.
I don't doubt it for a moment, never felt anything even close to it before.

Well, I've had a few. There was this one time my buddy and I were messing around, and he managed to dislocate my shoulder. Badly. And let me tell you, I'm not one of those people who have really bendy joints. My joints are tight and stiff, even though I excercise. And because I still believed in movie logic, I pulled it back to place myself then and there, and ended up making it worse. And because of that, I can't lift my right elbow past my neck. So that was pretty nasty.

Then there was this one time one of my rats, whose brains were not working well at all due to some illness, tried to kill his brother. Not being all that bright, I thrust my bare hand in there, with pretty obvious results. Rat bites hurt enough ordinarily, seeing the incisors are really long and actually separate when they bite something, but this one was something quite extra bad. The rat bit me to the base of the thumb, through a nerve and hit the bone. And then he started to tear and shake the best he could, since he thought he was latched onto his brother and not my hand. It's a minor miracle I managed to wait until he let go instead of shaking. But I did scream hard, harder than probably ever.
I couldn't use my hand for a week because of the pain, and the left side of my thumb is still numb, after around three years.

So those really, really hurt and left somewhat permanent reminders.

From the descriptions and factor in the length of time an episode can take, it sounds like compared to this, every other pain is a picnic.

Mmm, I've mostly avoided all injury so far.
Emotionally, there was the time the girl I'd been obsessing over for several months ended up snogging a random guy, right next to me in the middle of the dance floor because she was so shitfaced at the Christmas dance. It was immediately obvious to my bro's why I suddenly changed mood, stopped dancing like a lunatic and was instead standing outside sulking. (Since it had been largely my example of dancing like a lunatic which had started everyone else and got the other hundred people into the small dance pit. I managed to get back into the spirit of things though. Best party of my life. Most painful experience.

Yes, that's not that painful, what can I say? I've had a sheltered life.

I broke my kneecaps once. Had to stay in the hospital for 3 months or so.

Hmm...On a scale of 1 to 10 Ive had times when i had instant 10 pain like my motorcycle crash or when i got a 3rd degree burn on my foot..

HOWEVER the constant 9 for 30 minutes that i experienced when i asked my dentist to give me a ROOT CANAL WITHOUT NOVOCAINE is my most memorable pain. It hurt so bad, after a while, it wasn't even registering as pain anymore, but like a super-instense sensation, like the "cold" feeling.

Honestly, it was bordering on a religious experience(must be how those guys who hang on hooks must feel), my pain tolerance afterwords skyrocketed.

When I was a kid I hit a wall on my bike, went over the wall onto concrete and broke my jaw, my bike seeing me trying to hold my jaw in place decided I hadn't had enough and smashed into the back of my head smashing my jaw even further...

thats not the worst part, i'll spoiler tag it in case your squeamish;
you know when something make you feel dizzy and your tongue sticks out, yeah that happened and when the bike hit me I bit my tongue off

The white hot pain of that is something you never forget, also you'll never forget half of your mouth falling out of your face and the shear horrible thoughts it gives you at the time.

I'm asking cos I'm in a bit of pain today; I have toothache, a headache, and a sore/stiff back from where I had a lumbar puncture this morning. It's like the world's worst hangover without the fun part!
Why did you need a lumbar puncture?, my cousin had one of them and he died from the shock, his body didn't like the pain and thought "fuck that", I mean they revived him obviously!.

The worst pain I have ever had is toothache.

I've broken my toe, had my finger slammed in a door and sliced open my foot before but none of them even compare to the incessant pain of a toothache.
