I broke my right cheek once when I slipped and hit my face on a bench, and when I was a toddler a tire rim fell on the middle finger of my right hand and took out a big ass chunk of my finger, I snapped a rubber band in my right eye, I broke my right shin when I tripped up the stairs leading into a church, I got hit in the right eye by a baseball, and I punctured my right ear drum ear drum once which I can only describe as "ear sodomy".

More intellignet readers will realise that all these painful injuries occured on the right side of my body, thoughts as to why that is?

getting my wisdom teeth out and having the pain killers run out just after the operation was done and then not getting good pain killers for it
Oh god yes, trust me getting your wisdom teeth removed is worse than getting shot in the foot, trust me. They didnt numb my mouth or knock me out when they did the surgery, it hurts like a mother fucker

I ate spicy Indian food.

This comic sums it up nicely.

I had a wooden spike go up through the bottom of my foot and rest halfway through it. Sensative tissue. Oh, and when they pulled it out there were NO pain killers available.

VERY PAINFUL!

I had surgery to drain an abscess and they packed the wound with gauze strips. They left the incision open and changed the gauze two times a day with NO pain killers. Hurt like mad.

Aside from that, I'll say two words. Crohn's Disease. I hate it SO MUCH!

Pain from my Crohn's Disease before I knew that's what I had. All I could do was lie on the couch.
I feel ya. I was just diagnosed with Crohn's last year myself.
Ok, just how many people on this site have Crohn's? We should start a club.

I got my nail slowly peeled out by my newbie doctor who spaced the painkillers as a kid.

I closed my hand in a door and it was mostly on my right ring finger.

I now hate hospitals.

EDIT: Jesus, seeing the rest of you guys I feel like a whiner.

It's all relative. The worst pain you've ever felt is still the worst pain you've ever felt. So it's not like there's a contest going on. :p

When I was a small child I got my finger caught in the door.
It may not seem like much but it was fully through the door and the door was completely closed, it was also on the hinged side of the door and not the side with the lock.
I don't fully remember it but I was told the door was shut for a full three minutes before they could get it out. It was almost completely flat.

We're guys, everything's a contest.

I had a septic hip. infected fluid which wasnt supposed to be there was in my hip joint. It was actually a relief when the stuck a big ass needle into my hip joint to draw some out and put it in cultures. Moving it at all hurt like a MF.

N00b asian doctor wanted to slice my entire hip open (8 weeks to heal) but lucky my mother insisted on a second opinion, second (white) doctor said to give it a week with antibiotics and keep me in hospital for monitoring, fixed it right up.

I can't believe that asian dr. almost sliced my fucking hip right open and then wanted to wash it out!

PS a feel sorry for anyone who has had to spend more then a week in hospital! I love reading, so it was alright, but people who don't have my sympathies.

PPS i have nothing against asian doctors, my favorite doctor at the local surgery is asian.

When I was a kid I fell on my brothers bike and my finger pierced by a bicycle cog, the chain held my finger in, my mom ran out and started yanking on me while my finger was impaled. After a bit my brother ran out, threw my mother aside and cranked my finger out. I could see straight through my finger tip.

After my jaw was wired shut for 8 weeks, it hurt (ALOT) to eat solid food again. One of the good things about having it broken was the pain killers; they worked so well almost everytime I took some I took a nap.

That would be the 2-day period where an infection literally burned the nerve out of one of my teeth, while I was working back-to-back shifts at my horrendously shitty job.

Its either breaking both my arms at the same time, spraining my ankle, or when the dentist didn't use anesthetic when he pulled a cavity.
