Burnt the inside of my throat choking on something incredibly hot, gasping for air and my mom just watched and smiled.Didn't sleep a wink that night and had to spit into a bowl constantly cause my mouth was making tons of saliva to try and ease the pain

Or when both my ear drums burst from infection in a night and didnt sleep that night either.

Nothing compared to stuff here but painful none the less

after I had my wisdom teeth pulled I got dry socket. I was home all by myself and I ran out of pain killers, even Tylenol. This was in the morning of a work day and I had to sit and wait for hours for my parents to come home while I had this steady and intense pain in my mouth. Also, I bought one of those really small wireless earpieces that actually go inside you ear canal so I could listen to my ipod while I worked at a factory. Sometimes if the little battery isnt positioned just right, it will make a high frequency sound until you fix it. Well I was wearing it during work and while it was in my ear it started to make that high pitched buzz, but I couldn't get it out. It went to deep into my ear canal and I didn't bring any tweezers to get it out so I had to continue working for hours with this torturous ringing in my ear, I felt like I was going to pass out towards the end of the day and there was no way I could leave early.

I had only one baby tooth left. It was my upper left canine. It had a root that kept growing and I couldn't get braces with it in there. So basically they had to numb me. Drill a hole in my mouth. Let that sink in. DRILL A HOLE IN MY MOUTH. Yank out the tooth, and but a hanging weight on the tooth to drag it down. So I was alright, I mean being able to spit blood is kinda cool. but then it wore off and all my nerve endings were exposed. So I couldn't eat, sleep, or blink without pain. I could only take advil. Well, one night, my body decided to be a dick and wake me up in the middle of the night, drag me to the toilet, and throw up 20 advils and stomach acid. Acid in my mouth with exposed nerve endings. Think about that. ACID in my MOUTH with EXPOSED NERVE ENDINGS.

I know this sounds really weak but gas pains.

I've had a horrible, horrible problem with pain in my stomach (I assume from gas). It's dropped my to my knees and made me cry like a little girl. I used to lie in bed while my roommate was out and cry because I couldn't sleep from it. I don't really cry, ever. I think I was more frustrated because nothing helped, but that's some of the worst.

Also I had stomach surgery, and while I was recovering from the surgery I threw up a lot. I was so scared to eat that I wouldn't eat anything. I had a lot of pain from that, both after surgery and that time I didn't eat.

That's really about it, besides random burns.

NO WAIT! I had a cyst rupture during my junior year of high school. THAT had to be the most painful thing for me. The cyst was the size of my thumb and apparently I could have had to have my ovary removed if it cause it to twist. There was also another one that big but it never ruptured. I'm on medication for it now.

Just thought I'd share all that with y'all.

Worst pain would have to be the "aftermath" of a certain surgery I had. Unfortunately, I'd probably get in trouble if I said what it was. All you need to know is that for about 2 weeks after the surgery, it burned so badly it made me scream in pain. The time I threw up 10 times in like 3 hours sucked as well.

I had Idiopathic cysts on my backside. Worst... pain... ever. Couldn't sit or lie down comfortably, and I was in so much pain I couldn't eat for three days. Then, I went to the hospital. (I thought I had pulled a muscle). I had to have major surgery to drain them, because when they get that big, there's a chance the pus in them could get into your bloodstream and cause a massive infection that could kill you. The surgery, plus the week-long stay in the hospital, cost $40,000. Not only hurting bad, but expensive bad.

WARNING GRAPHIC DETAIL. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

for me it would either be the 8mm kidney stone that grew into my urinary tract and took four hours to remove. I lived with it for over six months while I jumped through hoops to find a way to get it removed without having to pay out the ass. I went to the restroom after the surgery and me knees gave way as soon as urine started to pass through my penis. I nearly hit my head off the toilet seat.

OR: when they removed the stint I had put in place when they removed the kidney stone. for those who dont know a stint is a small tube that they insert in your kidney that runs down to your bladder. Removal of one involves them inserting a numbing agent into your penis then clamping it shut until they are ready to proceed. The clamp is removed and a camera with a little grip claw is inserted into the tip of your penis and goes up through your bladder and to your kidney where they proceed to until the know thats holding it in place, they then go back down to your bladder and until the other knot and pull the tube out. Also worth noting that they pump water into your bladder through your penis to make the process easier. I didnt feel any pain inside my penis during the procedure, but it felt like my insides were being torn apart.

Pain from my Crohn's Disease before I knew that's what I had. All I could do was lie on the couch.
I feel ya. I was just diagnosed with Crohn's last year myself. With that, IBS, and lactose intolerance, about the only thing I can eat without being in the bathroom for hours on end is salad. On the good side, I've lost 50 lbs just in the past 6 months.

As for my worst pain, that would be food poisoning. Entire body cramps made it feel like fiery needles of doom were piercing every nerve cell in my body. Eventually, I threw up 2 gallons of weird green liquid, and the rotting remains of a turkey sandwich. Then I felt better.

(Remember, you asked.)
When I was about 6 or 7, I had some sort of kidney infection which made me have to urinate constantly. As part of the exploratory operation to figure out what was wrong, I had to have a catheter put in.
Now, I realize all doctors claim that "this won't hurt a bit", but this doctor is still Going To Hell For Lying. "Mild discomfort" he said it would be.
It felt like someone ran a slow-burning fuse into my urethra and lit it. I'm not ashamed to say that I screamed like... well, like a little boy having a slightly-too-large tube shoved into his most private place. And it burned to pee for a week or two afterward.

About a decade later, my grandfather went to the same urologist. "Say hi for me," I said, "and if you get the chance, punch him in the face."

I tore the muscle in my right leg during a Ballet competition when I was around 12. I was doing the splits and was meant to roll out of them but I was dancing in bare feet and my foot kind stuck to the floor as I moved.

It make a really sick sound, like when you tear a chicken wing apart and I turn like utterly grey (according to my mum) and I blacked out for a second.
I couldn't walk for a month and couldn't run or dance for a year :(

However, that being said. If I ever experience child birth, I'd give it pride of place.

No women posting about child-birth?
Haha! You think there are grown mothers on this site?

OT: My worst pain was when I was recovering from an operation and my painkillers only lasted a few days.

My legs hurt like that for a week before I could walk again.

I'm only 16 so I haven't experienced much, especially since I don't do many dangerous things. To be honest, everything else in this thread seems much worse.

I'm also scared to death of one day getting a kidney/gall stone after the stories I've heard.

I was once slicing bread and went about a full 2 seconds before I realized I had finished cutting the bread and started cutting what was under it....my finger.

When I was young, my mom cooked something in the oven and put the searing hot container on the counter. I didn't realize, and I touched it with the side of my arm. Fell to the ground from the pain of the burn, got a scar for the next 5 years.

Was camping once, fell off the bike that was way too big for me and my knee acquainted itself with the sharp rocks on the ground. Couldn't walk for the rest of the day.
