I try to avoid pain as much as I can. But there was this time when I was about 5, I fell off my bad, hit my head on the desk next to it, and slashed my arm open on the metal bed frame. Its been about 12 years and I still have the 7 inch scar down my arm.

Something that my friend told me about was this thing called an epilator. It plucks each hair out one by one really fast. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epilator
If you ask me, the thing looks like a death trap

Coming out of anesthesia at home and my nose starting to hurt after surgery. Pain pills did not help at all.

Being the unfeeling juggernaut I am, I'd have to say when I got my wisdom teeth pulled out, that couple hours between being high off of the anesthetics and popping Vicodin when I didn't have any drugs making me forget where I was sucked a lot, coincidentally I consider the first half hour after I woke up after the procedure really awesome, since I couldn't feel my anything and had no idea where the fuck I was

When I was a kid I had nasty ear infections and hit my head twice on both concrete road and a tree stump respectivly, but one time I had a stomach virus, the pain was so immense it was the only time during my life I ever thought I was going to die.

Hm... it would probably have to be the time I broke my foot in half.

Seriously, when they gave me anestisia for it, I could literally move the bone around
That's so badass.

I would have to say it was the (first) time I had sun poisoning. Turns out I am allergic to sun burn on my chest and back (thanks dad). I was screaming for hours... great fun.

Well I thought that I died when I heard Brokencyde but it turns out I just hemoraged then blacked out.
My worst pain was probably when a dog bit off half the skin on one of my cheeks, it happened when I was 8 months old so I don't remember it but there was apparantly skin hanging off the side of my face so I'm assuming that hurt. Worst pain I remember was when I got the stomach flu the cramps were so bad I couldn't walk but that's nothing compared to most of these.

This whole thread is killing me...

OT: I actually have had a lot of ingrown toe nails. twice in the same toe. they first guy used Hydrochloric Acid/water mixture to get rid of part of the toe (which now is only 3/4 the size of my other big toenail). That did not work, so it came back. then I went to a guy in SC(when I moved there) and he fixed it up right.

Once I stubbed my toe while working in my spice garden and I only cried for twenty minutes...

First week of having Braces, Had a set on top and bottom, Could not eat for a week, by about the 5th day I could just start to eat soft food like bread but that was cut up into small chunks and still hurt abit.

Lived on Rice pudding :)

Seriously was not fun at all.

Also someone mentioned a stomach virus, I had food poisoning whenI was 4, was horrible felt like I was dying, probably felt worse because I was young.

The pain after having the marrow sucked out of my tibia and a titanium rod jammed in its place. I've passed a kidney stone before, albeit a small one, and the leg surgery was worse. The morphine the hospital gave me did NOTHING. I was on the verge of screaming for hours afterward. As soon as they released me, I called up a shady fellow who got me a large bottle of Oxycontin. Say what you will about that drug, but there are some instances where its use is justified.

I managed to fall and give myself a pre-patellar haematoma (where the bone of the kneecap slams into and bruises the hell out of the flesh around it) and sprain the living daylights out of my left knee. I still remember sitting in the lobby of the hotel sobbing because I was in so much pain, and driving to the hospital screaming every time my brother's girlfriend turned a corner because it jostled me.

I get blinding tension headaches that are nearly as bad though.

Cutting the tip of my middle finger off with a bandsaw. At first there was no pain seeing as I was in shock. Later though... wow. Hurt like hell. If i can i'd like to avoid that.

....I've also developed a healthy fear of bandsaws since then =(

oh i woke up during it and couldnt move due to meds but could FEEL EVERYTHING they using a bone saw to cut in my skull and the hot blood oozing out and the hiss of the pressure in my skull pop and then digging into brain ( oddly that dont hurt) but the resowing me back up and realize when they are 90% done with surgery a nurse notices my eyes are open and im crying
shes like omg HES AWAKE AND IN PAIN SOMEONE KNOCK HIM OUT
WE CANT AT THIS POINT THE MEDS WOULD KEEL HIM

and i had to suffer 9 hours of horrible pain beyond anything and hear the doctors laugh and talk about golf game and what doctor is banging what nurse blah blah crap
and they realized i was awake the entire time just paralized and couldnt move orspeak just my eyes could move

Most recent memory is 2 week constipation followed by repeated attacks of "the runs" which seemed to be hot enough to boil eggs. My backside felt like it was on fire and I couldn't sit down. Even worse, the "runs" attacked just about an hour before I had to leave for work (my job involves sitting at a computer and talking to customers on the phone).

I think I've had worse, but that is the only one coming to mind at the moment. According to my mom though, I was born dead, due to the umbilical cord strangling me. Then again, she isn't the most honest of people.
