Anyhoo, the worst part of my favorite game is...
Sailing.
Game should be obvious.
I am with you bro, horrible horrible sailing.
the boat was red though which kept my attention for some time.
I forgot to mention the sidequests. They were really counter-intuitive, and there was barely any hint or direction as to even begin them. For instance, to get the Deluxe Picto Box, you need to take pictures of people in specific situations, and then catch a barely visible bug in a forest across the ocean. How was I supposed to know to do this? None of the sidequests, such as getting the special sea charts (Octo, sea hearts, etc), had any initial direction.
They definitely had the chance to use the NPCs for this, but instead the NPCs were useless. What I mean is a system where passers-by could say things like "I heard that there's this thing that does X located somewhere around Y."
I mean, the dungeons had puzzles that you had to figure out, but you figured them out logically by examining your surroundings, not just by random chance. Why couldn't the sidequests work like this?
