Dialogue in Devil May Cry. Not the dialogue itself, but rather the volume. I had my TV at around 32, and I still couldn't hear a damned thing Dante was saying.

Oh I should have added the "Boss fight" in Fable 2!! That pissed me off to no end!
That can't exactly be the worst part of a "Best" game, Can it? I mean Fable 2 was essentially a life sim set in 1600-1700 with magic, guns and swords, heck, if they made it so you had to feed the pooch then it would just be a combination between, The Sims, Nintendogs, and Monopoly? xD

OT: Erm, I would say, Taris on KOTOR, good in the first play through but then it just became a really long tutorial really.
Good point. It's a good game not a "Best" game...still pissed me off
I know what you mean. I played it through with my bro, his copy was delayed in being delivered so same screen, and that boss battle literally ended with me sprinting towards him with my sword and my brother killing him in one shot from the default co-op gun, I rage'd.

Ocarina of Time: Water Temple. Seriously,
In the big tower in the middle where you raise the water, I found it hard to notice how one of the blocks lifted with the water, thus revealing a hole.
I wasn't very old at the time, but I almost gave up on it.
This. The Water Temple isn't even that hard, despite the claims, it's just FREAKIN' ANNOYING!

Oh yeah... Never finished my friend's copy of FFX, and if starting over means going through that again, I don't think I'll ever bother.

Also:
-In any old-school RPG, the first few hours where you have no magic, perhaps only two party members, and the only strategy is mashing the A button to get off enough attacks to kill the enemy.

-3D Mario games, any Red/Purple Coin levels. Like the Water Temple: Not hard, just annoying.

-Sonic Adventure 2, ANY level playing as Knuckles or Rouge. I don't care what you say to justify it, they were unnecessary and annoying as hell!

-TF2, the fact that Sentries push you back, so that once they start hitting you, there is almost no way out unless you attack it from the corner. This also applies to Heavy's Natascha to a lesser degree.

Water levels, in any game for any system for any reason.

"Hey, you know what would make this game even better? If you had the same type of environments but the character moves and reacts slower then normal!" Then Sonic drowns.

Can I at least justify Knuckles with the power of music? ..I like his stage music.

EDIT: Now I have Pumpkin Hill stuck in my head. *sigh*

OT: Any RPG that has a supposed to lose fight, but never really lets you know. So you waste a ton of items and such, just to lose in the end.

Im kind of surprised someone would list Final Fantasy X and choose to list blitzball over the "laughing" cutscene. Dont get me wrong, Blitzball wasnt great by any stretch, but the laughing scene made me want to quit the game all together.

This. Jeez, I must have spent way to much time on those because I suck at finding hidden stuff >__>

Also, the entire "military base"-part of Resident Evil 4. It's boring as hell D:

so true, also when you want to poison every arrow you fire you must pause the game, every, single, time!

You could of just said "HEY LISTEN" for that game :p

Or that stupid Owl...

OT: Ashely, also know as ever whiny teenage girl stuffed into one character.

Atleast she at didn't waste items, make item management a pain, or shoot me... glad Capcom never put that kind of partner into a game...

That's fine with me. Boss fights are almost always shiiite anyway. The long ass intro as a little kid annoys me.

In Kotor when you are in the sewers, and when you have to help the wolverine infested town. My least favorite parts of that game.

Any sort of jumping over lava/toxic spill in first person shooters, Half-Life is a shinning example of this if my memory serves me well.
Also
Lack of guides and weapons/armour repair in the first STALKER game, the rage you get when you find an amazing weapon with 1/10 of health.

The shitty-annoying bit in Arkham Asylum when you have to creep along to get this plant stuff and you twat Killer Croc down like cold-blooded whack-a-mole.
