The Sloth Demon's Realm in Dragon Age: Origins
I don't remember that part? Unless it was where you could transform into a rat and stuff...

OT: Flash back scene/part where Cloud "finds himself" in FFVII.

Deciphering, F%cking Seacharts. That pretty much killed my enjoyment of windwaker halfway through.

That's the one I'm talking about. Going through all the different realms and transforming and stuff. Boring and tedious, and it slowed the game to a standstill.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. The entirety of the Warrens.
well that wasn't as bad as going to face ming-xiao at the end where the entire soul that populated the start of the game disappeared completely

Kingdom hearts unskipable cut scenes before HARD boss battles.
And they were always LONGEST before a boss battle.

Mass Effect: Driving around the side-quest planets on the Mako.
Indigo Prophecy: The entire last third of the game.
Half Life 2: The stupid sewer level in the beginning. Gosh that level was horrid.

All I can think off at the moment.

Mako and planet scanning in mass effect (2) are a classic example.
Temple of trials in Fallout 2.
Sieges can become really tedious in Medieval II.
ANY sewer level.
Survive for x amount of time, if it fails to be challenging.

Ocarina of Time: Water Temple. Seriously,
In the big tower in the middle where you raise the water, I found it hard to notice how one of the blocks lifted with the water, thus revealing a hole.
I wasn't very old at the time, but I almost gave up on it.
I almost consulted a walthrough for that part, ALMOST!! However I did need one for when I had to deflood/reflood or whatever. Y'know that part where that chick says to follow you? After I followed her once I forgot that spot existed.

I agree with the Borderlands 'ending', absolutely terrible. Great game though...
I didn't like it at first either but then I started to think it made sense. I mean.. if you were really there, would you go through that much trouble to pop the vault if you really knew what was inside. :p
if only I did know what was inside, then I would have never tryed to get to the vault in the first place :S

Really? I didn't care much for the game, but I liked that part. Seemed more like puzzle/problem solving. The part in the mountain with the dwarfs was probably the most annoying/boring part of that game for me...

Elder Scrolls:Oblivion > > Whenever I commit a crime such as robbing a house without anyone seeing me, the city guards will automatically come running.
*Punches Wall* That pissed me off so much, I tried wearing Light Armour to make less noise, but they still come.

OT: Metal Gear Solid 4: Any part of the game with those little bloody robots. To bring back memories of Shadow Moses, it would have been much better to sneak past guards because it would have been just like the first game, instead we get little stupid robots.
The Oblivion thing is easy, you get a full set of armour, put 25% chameleon on each piece and voila! Permanent 100% chameleon and making the game hilariously easy. Warning: You are not invisible to turrets.

Dragon Age.
Inventory management.
So... much... CRAP!
It's fun to get halfway into anything and having to turn back or painstakingly delete one item at a time to be able to pick up loot.
Also, the Fade. Not as annoying, but it's still kind of a pain.

I also hate whenever a game pauses for no good reason.
That is, pause as in a delay of any kind.
Such as in, say, an RPG.
You enter a command and the character executes it.
Then, there's a 1-2 second pause after he's finished until something happens...
Or even a victory screen where the spoils are displayed and it stays up for just slightly too long.
Or when exiting a loading screen and the fade-in is being really slow and prevents you from moving for almost 2 seconds.
Like in The Last Remnant.
That shit builds up a lot of annoyance.

RE4 - playing as Ashley, and the Knife Fight between Leon and Krauser was rather frustrating esp. on the GC.

Sonic Adventure 1 - Big's fishing levels. Nuff said.

Water levels in general.
