In primary school I used to be quite popular. Then my personality developed near the end of my Y6 and most of them went their seperate ways. Only one stuck by me, but she really stood by me. At the leaving party I kissed her thinking that it was appropriate. We got laughed at when she made her distaste known, but I apologised after the party and we're still friends. I didn't see her for years, then we met at a fair the school was throwing that we were attenting because of nostalgia. Then I didn't see her for another couple of years, but I've found her on myspace and she was glad to hear from me. I haven't messaged her for a long time, but it's nice to know that she still enjoys chatting, even by e-mail.
The relevance there was beause the rest of my friends just up and left without saying why (;_
but Amy stood by me for all these years, even though we haven't seen each other at all since the fair (^___^)
In retrospect, leaving me was probably the best thing my Primary School friends could have done, because I realised through Amy that it wasn't me, it was them. My life changed then and there and now I've never had a group of friends greater than 6, but they've all been awesome.
