The assault rifle in Halo.. hmm, my bullets seem to be coming out in an almost cone-like arrangement. hmm, point blank shooting didnt kill that elite.. no wonder the humans were losing in the war if they were all armed with those things
Try aiming it

The lancer in gears of war 1 multiplayer. I don't think i downed hardly anyone with that thing at range
You're kidding right?

The minigun from Army of Two was severely dissapointing...it was incredibly small and you could go through a full clip trying to kill someone largely because most of your shots would miss. That or the really terrible pistol from Gears (not the magnum or the Gorgon pistol, the other one.)

The Mine shooter Gun in RE 4 it is the only weapon I saw and did not instantly buy.
Really? When fully upgraded that gun kills everything. EVERYTHING. You don't even really need to aim. Just point and click and bam homing mine to the skull. I once fired the thing off randomly into the sky. Hear a *Beep beep beeeeep* and watch the thing light up and TURN into a barn just to nail a Gonados on the upper floor through a window. One shot kill.

The Eliete Beam Weapon form SW: Republic Commando.
It's too hard to aim, and its only good for taking down other flying dudes that have the Beam weapon.
Yeah that thing did suck. I always wondered why it was trying to feel you up, though.
The weapon would be attached to the Elite's arm. For fuel, the weapon drained the Geonosian of its body fluids, and converted them into a highly focused beam of pure energy. Due to this process, the weapon required several moments to charge and fire the beam. When used by any non-Geonosian, the weapon's "fingers" would be unable to obtain fluids from the wielder. Any fluids stored inside the weapon would be all the ammunition available to the new user. The beam could be sustained for a short time but inflict massive damage from any range on an enemy.

So that's why it was trying to feel me up!

Klobb; Goldeneye 64

Anyone who has played Goldeneye 64 (and i am assuming all of you have) will know that this is number one. By far this has got to be the most inaccurate gun in video game history. When you play Goldeneye, people will go to great lengths not to use this weapon. They will use any pistol, any grenade and karate chop they have before having to degrade themselves to this abomination of a weapon. Now maybe that is just my opinion and I may get hate mail from the Klobb Fan Club, but I know I am not alone on this one.

Also, assault rifle on mass effect, although it may have been my class.
It was your class. I found out the lame way that easy mode on that game was going soldier with the assault rifle. It reduced the final boss fight to a ridiculous 5 seconds. I ran straight at him and didn't even make it to him before he died.

least favorite weapon: The Klobb, GoldenEye. I can't remember did that gun even deal damage or did it just give away free ammunition to your enemies.

The BB gun in Fallout 3. When I first got out of the vault I had nearly used up my pistol ammo, I got attacked by a blowfly, a blowfly and switched to the BB gun to kill it, I actually think I died once trying to kill it, because trying to hit it was nearly impossible.

I would give it to the Shotgun from Team Fortress 2. Now this one is a pretty varied one, as to "why would the shotgun be bad?" Well, in two out of the four cases of the Shotgun showing up in TF2 (secondary weapon for the Soldier, Pyro, Heavy and primary for the Engineer), the Pyro and Heavy can change it out for a long-range fire-starting Flare Gun or a health-restoring Sandvich. The Soldier's got a rocket launcher which renders the shotgun useless unless you run out of ammo and the Engineer's pistol holds more ammo and has a higher rate of fire and lower damage dropoff, making it much more powerful.

Energy Flechette in AvP2 Primal Hunt.

It has it's uses, but the energy pistol, disc, shoulder cannon and speargun are all stronger with less travel time.
Hell, the only time the flechette should be used, is in single player where that and the wristblade are your only weapons.(not the whole single player obviously, but it are the starting weapons in a ruin infested with xenomorphs [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Xenomorph])

Wave Constructor from Jak 3. the only way to make it effective is too recharge it for a long time, and hope that your enemy will come to you in melee range because the weapon only wrks on short distance.

Halo 2's plasma pistol. I hate that thing, the overcharged bolt doesn't even have an effect on enemies, but it'll damn near kill you with one shot.

Chinese pistol in Fallout 3. Why did they even put it into the game? I guess God has a sense of humour because when i first played I went into the school and fruitlessly shot at a raider a million billion times with the damn thing!

In Fable 1: The goddamned "legendary weapon" the guildmaster has you trekking all over Albion for, collecting those asininely obscure clues that only lead you back to the farm, where you dig up a frying pan with someone's face imprinted on it. It actually does negative damage, and you can't sell it. Thanks, Lionhead!
Yeah, but you fill every slot with mana re-gen and you become an instant GodMage. When I found the frying pan I instantly equipped it and then never once used it, well, only to laugh at the piss-weak enemies.

The worst weapon in video games must be the Chineese pistol in Fallout 3, that or the .32 pistol. Why waste perfectly good Hunting rifle ammo?
