In my opinion, any game where you fight "terrorism" you are playing the bad guy. Any game where american's invade iraq and you play an american, you are playing the bad guy.

F.3.A.R (fear 3) you get to play as paxton fettel. He is one bad ass bad guy.
Why is it bad to kill terrorist? Last time I checked they are bad guys.

Also your eagle does not scare me =D, my cat used to kill those things and drag them to our front doorstep, it's scary (yes we have eagles in Canada).
I kind of find it funny that there are very few places in the US that actually are home to the Eagle. We should have just done a bear. Imagine...
I don't think my cat could kill a bear, I'll have to test this. Wait what?

I would totally play a game where my country was the bad guys, because I generally think that the ruling classes who start these bloody wars always are.

I don't have any more "loyalty" to the artificial construct that is my country than I do to the actual human beings every where else in the world, so I don't see the issue. I'd like it to be acknowledged that my ancestors and my country have done shitty things throughout history.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Bravo.

As long as there is a reason within the story of the game for me to be killing Americans/American soldiers I'd play it, say if the game's story followed a soldier in the Viet Cong or a soldier in the Werchmacht [sp?] if it's just "For the lulz" I would not. To clarify, if there was a game where the player takes control of a member of the Taliban I want there to be a good story behind that, I don't want a poor excuse for a game where the only appeal is getting to kill Americans.

If they ever managed to make a game where my fellow CANADIANS are the villains...

HECK YEAH I'D PLAY THAT! I mean, I'd love to see how they'd manage that!

Assuming it's a competent studio in charge, and they won't go "Yeah, let's just make them become communist and all suddenly big assholes so we can shoot them". If they did that, then no, I wouldn't play it.

Otherwise, YES!

I guess everyone loves Aussies so much, because there's no game where you gotta kill them.
Well, actually, it's because the game would go like this:

American Grunt: "Well, taking down those F-111s and F-35s we sold 'em won't be too hard, and then... wait, what the -

OH FUCK SPIDERS! GIANT FUCKING SPIDERS! FFFFUUUU-"

Australia is a terrifying place.

Making Australia the world power capable of total annihilation...?

Fuck yeah.
We'd have Koalas riding Wombats and Goannas launching Echidnas.
Our soldiers would be like the Berserkers of Old, so hepped up on beer that they felt no fear or pain.

I'd love an FPS game with America as the enemy for once, though it would be hard to rewrite history and replace the Nazis with yanks. (HIGH BROW JOKE AT THE NUMBER OF WW2 SHOOTERS)

The closest that I've done is in the Total War games. Damn you England for not joining the Holy Roman Empire!!!
The real question is: why are you playing as the HRE?!
Total War games are the closest to it, though. I've massacred entire civilisations in that game...

Technically, I'm Canadian. When was the last time Canadians played a large part in any popular game?
Company of Heroes tells the story of the huge role the Canadians had in Operation Windsor and Operation Charnwood, though the game was made by Relic, who're Canadians.

I don?t think I would care really, while I?m proud of my country I?m not particularly patriotic tho would be somewhat strange being that I live in NZ and our army is far too small to be the big bads in anything. Actually that would be awesome...bwhahaha fear us and out abundance of jandles and sheep! No one will ever see us coming.

England is too dull to be the bad guys.

Though I did like it when people were saying 'why would brits play Black Ops, you kill british soldiers!!!'...completely ignoring that you kill Americans in MW2. :)
