Find the Doctor, have him take the Tardis back in time, grab Kratos, bring him here. Problem solved.

Uh, I'd hate to break it to you. But the reason the Mayan calander ends in 2012 is because they have a countdown-based calander. Counting down to what, you ask? Nothing. This calander started in somehitng like 1470 BC. The Mayans had been around long before that, and they had a calnder that counted down from an earlier date to 1470 BC. 2012 is completley void.

I already went on this rant, dude. The point of the thread isn't about the fake prophecy. It's a hypothetical on what you were to do if a pantheon of gods existed.
Ah, alright then, sorry.

I dunno though, depends on the gods. If it were Roman or Greek, we'd be their ***** (those guys are nasty!). If if was Old Testament God, He'd kill me in the womb with lightening or something. New Testament God is a bit etheral, so I couldn't do anything to him.

I'd battle egyptian gods, as they seem to be immortal but still subseptibal to murder

Anyone's party in need of a duellist with a rapier in his main hand, and a dagger in the off? My dexterity is pretty high, and I can add my intelligence bonus to my damage bonus, armour class, and attack rolls! I could also dress funny and wear a sweet hat, and my diplomacy skill is off the scale!

Are we talkin strictly Mayan end of the world here?

Were it the Norse Ragnarok then I would. I always wanted to take a swing at Fenrir...
Who else could say they punched a giant wolf in the face?

Mayan however, probably not. Those Gods are freaky. They do weird stuff...torture and blood sacrifice arn't my idea of a good reward for fighting a God. Norse would be a nice swift end to a moment of foolish glory :p

Are we talking like greek style gods, or the Christian god? If its greek style then yes, they can be killed(see: God of War)but not a christian god because the christian god is immortal and all pwerful so it would be wasted effort.
I'm with you.

Yeah, in most polytheist religions, gods can be defeated. It'd be worth a try!

Yes, but not because I want the world to continue on.

Mostly just because I'd be annoyed that gods actually dared to exist, proving me wrong in my atheism.
What if they did not acknowledge themselves as gods?
