I'm naming my firstborn child Snake.

Whether it be a boy or a girl, he/she will be living in a box wearing a tight suit and a headband.

I don't think I would, and I doubt my future husband would approve.
A girl that would name her kid Sephiroth ....hmmm ...how should i put this to you.

Marry me?

no, but maybe an anime character, because Lain and Alice aren't that far out there...

It's pretty hard to avoid naming your kid after a videogame character. So many videogame characters have real names nowadays it's almost unavoidable.

OT: I'd probably name my future kid John Amazlington, or maybe Hel (has Hel appeared in a videogame?)

I always contemplated naming my first son Aragon.

But if its a girl I like the name Terra.

Whatever.

Being able to shout that whenever your kid did something wrong would be awesome.

I've always been partial to having kids named Madness and Sparta, so you could introduce them like this:
"This is Madness" *points at kid A*
"This is Sparta" *points at kid B*
'oh how ni-' *kicks person in chest*
Same idea, except identical twins.
Someone introduces them;
"Hi, this is madness."
"No! This is sparta!"

That would never get old...

On my own side, perhaps I would.
but only if it sounds cool.
Such as Edwin-the-Head-Smasher-of-the-North III.
All one name, except the three I's, which is his middle.

I rather like Edwin, for some reason.
But only if it's gone along with the Head Smasher part.
And Thirrin. From a book.

Ooh ooh!
Sir.
What an awesome name.

Hmm. Perchance I could happen upon calling one Aztec.
Hell yeah, I name him after a whole video game.

I imagine calling my child Demoman, Heavy or Soldier.

STRONG POWERFULL NAMES THAT DO NOT GET BULLIED AROUND.

And for girl i would prolly choose something like Peach...

OH OH
But i will definitly try to convince my wife to name kid Gordon Freeman.

If it's a name I'd possibly pick otherwise too. There isn't a character in video games I'd have such strong feelings about. A huge part of the games I mostly play don't even have that kind of characters.

"Newspaper Zombie! Stop leaving your legos in the middle of the room. Little 1337 Krew -terrorist might try to eat them."

I had debated on the name Aria for a long time, and then she was a character in Mass Effect 2, does that count?

If its a relatively normal name, then yes.

Like, I wouldn't mind naming a son after Master chief, you know, John.

or even Carter. I have always liked that name.

I would name my son after myself, but only after I become involved in the video game industry and make a character based on myself and use my own first name.

I probably would if Estonian wasn't so different from English, people would constantly misspell his or her name ( for example, Alistair = Älisteer ).

Although I suppose Dante would work pretty nicely.
