If my eyes don't deceive me, you just compared the sexual act between consenting human adults with bestiality.Lightnr said:Please do not compare the suffering, torture, and oppression of a people for years because of the color of their skin to the gay plight - where that is a DEVIANCY from the NORMAL (sexuality, ideology, morality, etc).
Or to Jews who suffered a completely different extermination based on their RELIGION.
As far as I know sexuality is neither religion nor race - please don't ever compare those.
Also what if I wanted to have sex with sheep? or wanted to have sex with my family? I am sure I could find others with the same sexual desires... So would that make us a minority being oppressed? - because laws and morals taught in school teach against those things. Should we then promote bestiality and incest? should we? I mean... I can still promote the human race THANKS TO SCIENCE (not my own abilities) and artificially impregnate a willing woman who would have my baby.... so whats wrong with bestiality and incest? Why not have a game who's main character likes to have sex with his parents and his dog??
I almost believed you, then I noted that you said 'Japanese'. How exactly would I be unable to relate to a Japanese person? That strikes me as racism, yes there are cultural difference but that doesn't stop me relating to them.Wafflestomper99 said:No offense, but have you ever played a Japanese / Alien / superhuman or God / or even someone in a completely different profession? You couldn't relate to them either. That being said, the romantic scenes could be off-putting. But as far as I know, the only question is "would you play a main character who's sexual orientation was homosexual?". That could mean you play "Baddy Mc Badass", killing nazis and aliens and saving the world, with call of duty action, and mass effect-like decisions to be made. And the main character just happens to be gay, with no other mention of it. Maybe a snide remark from a friend once in a while.Ushario said:No I probably wouldn't play a game where I was forced to play a gay character.
I wouldn't be able to relate and I'd be uncomfortable with any romantic scenes.
This really should have been a poll so we can see what it all sums up like.
Just making a point.
he comes off to me as being equally as prejudiced as people who have been prejudiced to him.purplepixie said:Mr Ink 5000 said:no, sexuality is not religion or race, but an individual has as much choice over his sexuality as another does about their skin colour.Lightnr said:I am Black and I am extremely offended by your post. THIS. Seriously, have you ever thought how you would feel if people told you everyday that you were abnormal and you were not allowed to marry the person you love because a bunch of people who have never met you think that your love is disgusting. Stop making out that one minority has it 'worse' then others, instead unite under the fact that all discrimination is pointless and should be eradicated.
FYI, you can't choose your sexuality any more then your race.
...and his bat.Flying-Emu said:Sure.
Why not? I play as the Scout, and we all know he has homosexual tendencies.
He loves his ball.
Holy... wha~ why didn't they keep it? *frowns*Megawizard said:Vaan in FF12; it got changed in the English translation (I think; it's been awhile since that whole shtick happened).
That's smashing. And I'm not adopting any kind of derogatory stance on this; I genuinely think it's a great thing that you are confident and outspoken in your disposition.VanityGirl said:Honestly? No.
And I'm answering honestly. I'm not afraid to have an opinion.
Oh yeah!yellow snake95 said:Rather play a lesbian character than a gay guy

- But we'd all appreciate it if you elaborated as to why.
Without argument and insight, an opinion is little more than hot air.
