Yeah it's definitely just your KFCblalien said:I wanted to try the Double Down (ironically, of course) so I went to my local KFC. I used to like KFC a lot, then I moved somewhere that didn't have one, then I recently moved again to a place that does. So this was the first time I had eaten at this particular KFC.
The sandwich was god-awful. The chicken had no breading, it tasted bitter and tough, the fries were burnt, and all the ingredients just seemed cheap. The quantity wasn't fantastic either for its price. I would chalk it up to a bad economy, but Popeye's offers more food for the same price and it's actually good. Of course, there's no Popeye's within 50 miles so I am chickenless for the time being. Which I guess is good for my overall health...
So my question is, has anybody else experienced the same thing? Has KFC initiated this franchise-wide program to cut costs as much as possible while keeping their prices the same, or is my local KFC just incompetent?
I havent heard much good news from American fast food chains. Mostly i hear that its more about quantity, not necessarily taste (my sis went over there recently and said Maccas and KFC in particular taste better over here).blalien said:I wanted to try the Double Down (ironically, of course) so I went to my local KFC.
