Ehh, I can relate to your opinion but I think there should be a bit of context. While I find MRAs as nebulous and ill-defined a group as feminists (though admittedly more likely to be complete imbeciles) many contributors to the "MRA lexicon" if there's such a thing were either formerly or even currently feminists. They thought that sexism that disadvantages men and gives women an advantage (some may call this benevolent sexism) needed addressing because mainstream feminism wasn't doing it.GloatingSwine said:Men's Rights Activists.
It's like white pride advocates, in theory one of them somewhere might not be a complete wanker, but no-one's ever found one who isn't.
But now we get the "RedPill" types that are extremely cynical, self-loathing, misogynistic and even misanthropic. This is the kind of environment your Elliot Rodgers found themselves at home with (except the pick-up artists part which really seems to split MRAs in two).
It's all a big mess. I encourage everyone to stay far away from single-gender communities that are hostile to outsiders.
