Im not saying its true im just saying alot of talk about it is flying around. ive already played it on the ps3 and im a little perplexed as to how they would fit that amount of content on a regular disc instead of blu-ray. More perplexing is kojimas statements, but ive heard comments like that from developers in the past. Its just something that has been floating around, chill out.

My guess is they would have to go back to a multi-disk system, there by making that joke between Snake and Otacon about the dual layer system pointless, or shorten the game itself.

But seriously I don't really see that much of a difference between the fun had on the 360 or on the PS3. Right now either system has a number of games that you could easily waste an entire day on and trying to raise one higher then the other at this point is just an effort in futility.

Yeah, that conversation while on shadow moses would get a little uncomfortable. "were on the PS3...oh wait.". To be honest though, having multiple disks would stir up a lot of nastalgia for those days spent on MGS1. I just wonder about compressing all of the audio, it could seriously damadge the quality. I just dont see why konami would want their name on a game with lowered quality...then again they did make rock revolution.

Hmm i dunno...the ps3 and xbox are kinda balanced game wise now...

Although i think that the current xbox life expectancy might be reaching its end, Its hardware is getting iffy. (Hold there fanboys, no need to reply i don't care.)

I would either wait it out and buy whatever Micro$oft plans to do to save their console or go with a ps3.

What the hell do you mean, I couldn't name 20 PS3 games, yet I could easily name 20 big blockbuster hits for the 360.

Xbox does have more games. But quality wise? It's definitely balanced.

How so? most of the best games are on both consoles, and with the Xbox holding Mass Effect, Fable 2, and many others, the PS3 has actually a poor selection when you get to exclusives.

Mass Effect is on the PC and works really well there. however, no one can deny that fable 2 is amazing.

As far as the ps3 having a poor selection, i realize its a matter of oppinion, but i want to call you blind. White Knight Chronicals, quantum theory, heavy rain, infamous(i will point out that none of those have a number after their names. aka, they are all new ip). Then there is the upcoming resistance 2, LBP(which im pretty sure is out), and socom (is out).
Dont get me wrong, there are games just as good as these out on the 360, but i find it odd that someone could see these games on a list and write them off as 'poor'

But yeah, there is a reason I own all 3 consoles /and/ a gaming PC, it's so I don't have to deal with exclusives, none of them are to me. Actually, I'll see about picking up some of the games just mentioned for the PS3, as soon as I have enough money, hard to rebound after a 5 game release frenzy...

I'm a big rpg/fps fan, so Xbox seems ideal especially with all the jrpgs and my undying love of CoD4 ^^

There is also Mass Effect, Oblivion and another great RPG that I can't remember right now.

The 360 is very strong game wise, enough to tickle anyone's fancy. There is also a lot of great arcade titles. Braid, Uno and Geometry Wars being some of them.

Well, if you live in the UK go for it. They dropped the price in September. So it's pretty easy to get another one if the warranty goes off and you have a red ring. The customer service is really shitty. I mean, Sony's is so much better. Anyway, I say go get one. It's a really good console with some great exclusives. And xbox live is the icing on the cake!
