This is why the world needs gamers like us. We can catch evil doers where ever they may be hiding. All we need now is a theme song.

I think the title should be changed into

"Attention whore goes to jail for being a dumbass"

Because really, the guy was one.

Any sane person on the planet would have reported him, regardless of whether or not they play games...

Very good to see gamers and gaming portrayed in a positive light by the media for once. I mean just read this:
?This incident demonstrates the power of the electronic world and how different enforcement agencies can quickly work together to protect the citizens they serve, regardless of obstacles such as international barriers,? Omilusik said.
Doesn't that just warm your heart? Or fill it with Orwellian visions, whatever suits you.

Thats pretty cool. And to think, like 10 years ago things like this could never happen. Tech has gone far.

How dare they!

Surely people will realize all the bland faults of this system if it were ever to come true

Its kinda cool, but i wonder how well informed the article really was. Using a 'numeric code' to track down the dude's 'computer' (i thought it was supposed to be an xbox... yeah i know technically an xbox is a comp, but anyway) is that a dumbass way of saying they tracked his IP address? Plus i'm curious whether it was an original xbox game, or perhaps it was a 360 and the picture was just whacked in by some work experience kid who googled 'xbox' and used the first pic.

Didn't you say you'd review Steam for your 15,000th post? Because you're almost there.
