I can't see much of the "good stuff" that is gone. I mean, the character custommisation couldn't make my character as absurdly anorexic as he was in the first two games, but I still made a character that looked rather like my characters from there (after putting on a bit of muscle, but I figure he put it on after becoming a celebrity to improve his image) and thus left me happy. Beyond there, there is the occasional detail here and there, but I've finished the main campaign, which I thought was generally superior to the other two games' campaigns, and now I'm having fun enough just dicking around in a smashed up Steelport.
In any case, I doubt it'll receive quite the same glowing recommendation that the second game got, since it's a sequel to a game Yahtzee's played and as a rule that makes him inclined to trash it just that little bit more, but I can't see how one can like the second game and loathe the third (well, then again, I couldn't see how someone could like Bioshock and loathe Bioshock 2, especially since I thought the latter was the better game, but he showed me up there).
