Yay! I got my first Xbox Live hate message! I'm so touched...

I got my first Xbox Live hate message last night on Halo: Reach! It was a voice message so it sounded like a cat in a blender like always, but what I made out was "next time you play SWAT make sure you get more than six kills...blah blah fuck off."

Oddly it hurt me because despite being a Captain rank, he was on my own team, and because I was the only person with sense who voted for good old slayer instead of SWAT, and seeing as whenever its chosen on Halo Reach (and in all fairness, when ISN'T it) everyone grows magical head-targeting bullets that seem to forget to be equipped to my gun.

Anyway 'Reach Rant' over, still remember your first hate message on Xbox Live, PSN or Wii for that matter?

Yeah, it was... oh wait... no, never had one. I guess I don't play online enough. That or simply not having an Xbox. Actually, I did have a player message me about a good game once or twice on PSN, playing Demon's Souls and again in Dirt 2.

My only hate messages came from using Naruto's fox form on Naruto: Broken Bond (even though I wasn't button mashing)
And later weirdly from someone who was using it instead of me who beat me who then felt like sending my a voice message saying how I suck as a Jonin rank, and all he pressed was x for the entire fight...
The reason people complain about the fox form is because you can attack before people have a chance to block, over and over by just using x.

It was on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
It was the main reason I set my privacy to "Friends only" for messages/voice.

Basically I accidentally shot someone while playing HardCore Team Deathmatch and he had a 4 kill streak (NO! HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN A PREDATOR MISSILE! HOW COULD I?)
He proceeded to leave; and then I received a message.

The contents went something along the lines of:
"fuk u bich jelus cuz i hd a ks and u didnt fag cant play shithead"

Funny thing was that I actually killed an enemy almost straight after I shot him and I got a chopper gunner from that kill.

Oh lord yes. You never forget those. I was playing the Broken Bond against some German Guy, and i was disconnected(stupid modem shut itself off) So the guy sends not one, but SEVEN different voice messages. All like "I want a rematch, youre a noob, you fail at life" and so on, however, the last one he sent was himself singing...odd...

I got my very first hate message on one of my very first online sessions of GTA IV. It didn't seem to be specifically directed at me, though. It was just some short message about how America sucks. And it's not like anyone could tell my nationality since I wasn't wearing a headset.

I love getting hate mail. I get it pretty often, since I'm often playing in an efficient manner. And by efficient I mean win any means necessary. And by any means necessary I mean noobtubes, tac knifes, armor lock, etc. I used to be like them. Raging over every idiot using overpowered shit, Realizeng, that you can use overpowered shit too brings balance to your mind and you become free of raging over overpowerness. Then you can move to shitty spawns.

EDIT: I forgot to mention my first hate mail. I honestly don't remember my first, but my amazingly horrible GOW skills didn't exactly make my team want to hug me. The enemies didn't love me too much either because of the use of chainsaw.

Actually tell a massive lie, my first hate message was two days earlier on Halo Reach, and my mates got the same message as well. Apparently 'skunking' the enemy in Invasion is classed as cheating, and that we ganged up on them...

I believe it was Shadowrun.

I was running around as an Elf with a Katana and Teleport.

After making 3 people bleed out and killing a dwarf to win the game I received the short and sweet message 'katana noob'.

You'd be amazed how few people are actually dicks on MMOs (At least the ones I play).

Worst reaction I had was during 007 Quantum of Solace - was dominating a golden gun game and one of the players rage quit and sent me over 150 messages (I still got the message received pop up even after blocking contact with him, I was receiving messages faster than LIVE could delete them). I replied saying "wow that many messages, you're a terrible loser" to which the person sending over 150 messages replied "go cry some more". I laughed my ass off
