I've seen some very recent screenshots doing the rounds, and they look much improved from everything else I'd seen.
As for: ""No exclusive organization. No saving the world. No ancient evil." (David Gaider)."
That means they're doing something different with the structure, that's hardly worrying, that's refreshing (although I could play a hundred BioWare RPGs and never tire of them).
This. I hate that Bioware story chart that is floating around. Its not a Bioware story chart, its a "Most goddamn stories told ever" chart. Also, formula is nice, you know what's expected and though it doesn't give much room to deal with it, it leaves the sequels open to do different stuff.

story seems interesting. not sure how great "interactive framed narrative" will be but its sound interesting non the less.
I guess they must've missed Alpha Protocol, which was laid out similarly with an 'interactive framed narrative' and it came out first. Kinda makes them look silly claiming to be the first to do it was Dragon Age 2. =P
That being said, there was nothing about that video that didn't look and sound completely fucking awesome.
Alpha Protocol doesn't exist. It wasn't meant to be made and never was. End of story.
Also it was made by Obsidian, which Bioware has good relations with, so they may have felt comfortable making the claim. Also, one guy said it, not the entire company.
