All the concerts I've been to were badass. Rolling Stones, front and center. Toadies I could have jumped onto the stage. KISS (bad band, great show), my dad got free tickets that were crappy, snuck into a better area where nobody was sitting, essentially front center. Dweezle Zappa, within 10 feet of him. Dropkick Murphys (best so far)- me, a fireman, my dad (also a fireman), my best friend and my shitfaced drunk brother taking on about 25 people for about two and a half hours hours fighting.
There was a midget at the Murphy's concert who kicked the ass of this really big, like six foot three-hundred pound dude. It was great. I actually wrote a song about how badass that guy was.
Anyway, my concert experiences have all been great.

Oh, at one point I tried to get out of the pit cause I was about to collapse. This guy on the edge threw me back in. I charged behind him, punched him in his back, shoved him in, and leaned on a person he was with and rested until I had caught my breath.

Some dumbasses dropped a guy that was crowd surfing on me, which pissed off both me and the guy that got dropped
The bassist from Bolt Thrower beaned me in the head with her bass while I was up on stage, I imagine it was accidental, I had just climbed up and was just getting up from all fours so my head was at about the right hight for an accidental knock...either that or she just thought it'd be funny...

I once pretty much got violated by a cute girl called Sarah at a Shirley Bassey concert, I'm not kidding Shirley fucking Bassey attracts some really rampant women.
Luckily I'm a guy so it didn't bother me to much in the long run, although I'll admit it I didn't turn all smooth operator, I just froze up in shock because she came out of know where.

But generally I've found the atmosphere at gigs to be friendly and pleasant...then again they have been Ska and Pop Punk, so...
I've been at a concert and had people squeezing my arse, guess some people go to them to touch people up, and others come to crush people in mosh pits. I was pretty annoyed at myself but I dunno what I could do, it happened a couple of times but I couldn't tell who it was and I was with my girlfriend who was oblivious to it.. I guess it was better to ignore it out of embarassment. It must be much worse for a girl.
I did do a good job of protecting my girlfriend from the pushes of the crowd though, except when someone in front stood on her foot with heels on... who the fuck goes with heels on. I seriously hate people, crowds and being knocked by people, I was reluctant to go and I knew I wouldn't like the music anyway (We Are Scientists, who the fuck are they), but somethings you gotta do.

At a Rolling Stones concert in Saint Paul, I was next to two drunk college girls who kept screaming 'CHARLIE WATTS!!!' throughout the entire show. ALMOST ruined it for me.
