Almost got banned in wow. It's fascinating how an argument works.

Banned 7 days for posting making a misleading title: it included the words "Zero" and "Punctuation" amongst others, but was about punctuation, not a British misanthrope. I thought I was being funny at the time but looking back it was a terrible joke. Banned by Joe very friendly like - a gentleman and a scholar.

I don't think I've ever been banned in any forum or game. I've been kicked from servers before (sometimes with cause, like when my connection crapped out and I lagged everyone else, but mostly because the server admin was a moron ("iz privat server"... then why don't you set it as "private" instead of "open", genius?) or jerk) but never a full-on ban.

Pshh, its not too hard to distinguish friend from foe in that game - If you were playing on Kriegstadt or whatever it was, where the colours of the players were toned down, so it was more realistic, and everybody looked more similar, then thats understandable... But, in normal maps, the Russians are yellow and the Germans grey, lol.

Every ban that has ever been evoked onto me has always been something stupid and trivial...or just no reason at all. I don't get banned often but when I do i just give out a big WTF!? as I did virtually nothing bad to deserve it.

I got banned from a few shadowrun servers for TKing. I'm partially colorblind, so I can't tell the difference between the two teams. They both look red to me, and I'm not observant enough to notice whether their armor looks "urban like or renegade like". I kid you not, when complaining about it in the shadowrun game forums, I actually had a game dev tell me those exact words. I see now why SR failed as a game...

I got banned for knifing an admin in a CS server.
Also been banned many times for insulting admins(mostly because they were like 10 years old).

I am officially banned from a chip shop in my town though for punching the shutters so hard I dented them slightly.

I was mortal and incredibly frustrated and annoyed at a woman friend of mine. Not good times.

Banned from pubs and clubs, but went back the next day anyway. Not been banned in game or forums. I keep forgetting to hit the post button and all the crap I write gets lost as I navigate away.

I got banned from my favorite call of duty server because my roomate, who was playing on my computer, shot the admin in the head two times consecutivly. In his book getting lucky == cheating. My user name and IP were both banned. When my IP reset a few days later I could login but had to do it with a different name.

Got a 3-day ban from the Halo 3 forums for linking to hooked-on-phonics' website because of a run-on sentence with no punctuation,no capital letters, and no grammatical structure whatsoever... Kids really need to go to school.

I got banned on here 3 times, one of the messages I got through said this:
Reason: You're hilarious, truly hilarious.
I posted a joke that wasn't very acceptible which I won't post on here because I'll most likely get banned again.

Also, on another account for posting a link for a website featuring a cup and two females. And this account for posting a meme.

In a game, I've only been cautioned for luring in Ultima Online back about 7 or 8 years ago. (If you ever played Europa and suddenly a large group of monsters headed into your direction while gold farming for your latest in banksitting colectables, hi.)


Forums, not so stellar record regarding my early days, but not been banned since about 2003, mostly turned that around and been a mod on 3 forums now since.
