Octopus. Big indoors aquarium / maze piped room to room, auto cleaning, ocean appropriate temperatures and sodium levels. Owing to the unique composition of their bodies, ocean pressure isn't a consideration, as it would be for certain other deep sea curiosities.

Jaguar... or Reticulated Python.
I know tigers can seem cliche, but what other huge furry creature are you supposed to hug?

Damn, if I could choose an animal that was extinct, most definitely a Megalodon. The king of all sharks, the biggest, baddest ************ of the ocean, that preyed on whales.

But, since I'm forced to keep to animals that are currently alive, I'm torn between a Hammerhead Shark, a Bengal Tiger, or an English Raven. And honestly, I find that to be a hard choice.

For sheer badassery, you have the Hammerhead.

For fuzzy cuddliness, you have the Tiger.

And for sheer intelligence and the fact it can fly, you have the Raven.

All are cool, all have their draws, and really, I love all three. So I'd be hard-pressed to really choose which one. But, so I'm different, I guess I'll go with the Hammerhead.

A llama.

Why should be obvious enough.
Just make sure it won't stab you 47 times in the chest and eat your hands.
Well that even sounds worse than getting stabbed by a llama 37 times and get my hands eaten.
It's almost as much as 5 tens. And that's terrible.

I am split between choosing a sloth or a wolverine.

On one hand you have a sloth, which would be very easy to care for without the pet fairy. Plus I could walk around with it on my back, like a cuddly living backpack.

On the other hand there is the wolverine, because wolverine. Honestly, who would say no to me and my pet death weasel.

Or I could just choose something from deep in the ocean. Like a Viperfish, or a deep sea shark, or maybe a Kraken. And don't say that violates the rules, because then you would have to prove that it doesn't exist, and you can't do that due to the vastness of the ocean.

Congratulations on being the first rule breaker!

I'd personally go with a ring tailed lemur.

I would pick the Giant Panda. Why? Because I could ride it around and more importantly chicks dig pandas.

I've always wanted to be a lioness like Sarabi from Lion King

Having one as a best friend/pet would be amazing.

Important question: Do we still have to clean it's crap and/or other stuff like that?

If we don't have to clean up after it I'd definitely go tiger.

Ah, forgot that bit, I'll amend it to jaguar, then.

Would it be too outlandish to imagine your lemur with the voice of Ali G singing and dancing all the time?

I'm not really much of a one for animals, but given my cynophobia, I'd probably take a tarantula so I could have a comeback when someone tells me their dog "won't bite" or whatever.

Bison.

Or a Highland Cow.

Or a kodiak bear.

What's funny is all three of those have been tamed by various people at some point. Look up "buffalowhisperer" on YouTube for proof of a pet adult bison.
