I think you'll find that a lot of members of the player base aren't at all like that. I, for one, have enjoyed WoW primarily in part due to the fact that I play on a roleplaying server and have been a long time member of a Heavy Roleplaying guild. I understand why many people might not like the game, but the combination of the background, history, and feel of the world makes for a good roleplaying setting to me. I've followed the WarCraft games since I was a young child and that probably has a lot to do with it.Kakashi on crack said:I'm going to get a lot of crap for this, I know already, but I chose World of Warcraft. Personally couldn't stand the game when I played it, and the playerbase annoys me to no end.
When I try to explain why, it usually goes something like this...
"I don't like WoW because..."
"WHAT!?!?!?! You don't like WoW?"
"No"
"You're *insert insult here* Have you ever played WoW? You look like the type who plays WoW"
"No, I don't play WoW I've pl..."
"I don't care what you've played, you should play WoW" *walks off*
I have nothing against the game, I just don't like it, and the player base both in-game, and IRL gets on my nerves.
Legend of Dragoon was a marginally better game, but it was still kind of meh in terms of RPG's. the plot was ok, but there are many times when I just wanted to slap the writer.Truth Cake said:FF7, since every Final Fantasy after FF6 was, in my professional opinion, complete garbage; AND if it didn't exist, Legend of the Dragoon, an (again in my professional opinion) infinitely better game than FF7, would probably have taken its place.
Oh, and all CoD's after World at War- say what you want about the mp40, it won't change my mind.
EDIT-So they could've worked on a better game!Grey_Focks said:inb4 Hal....Oh god dammit. Fucking hipsters.
I would face the wrath of the Owl. Somebody worked on it, why would I make their work cease to exist?![]()
