I don't know if flash style games count, but I have to go with farmville. Although I would like to have it purged from my memory as well.

Lol at anyone stating Call of Duty or Halo. You [I'm assuming you're elitest brats] sound worse than the people who you allegedly hate the game for. They're good games [bar Black Ops, which is shite] and if any of you played them once instead of going against the general consensus we'd have some good discussion in this forum for once.

For me: Saw the game. Holy fuck playing it was more torturous than anything depicted in the fucking game itself.

I would say spore, it was not what was promised at all. Why the hell cant you tell your colonies to make shit instead of giving you spice to sell at the end of the game.
I wanted to make a huge interstellar army and wipe shit out not babysit a handful of little planets that couldn't handle a few pirates unless you showed up to hold their hands.
I just watched yatzees video on it, that is why I remembered it.

For Video Games, a tie between RapeLay and Stockholm: An Exploration of True Love.

And if it were table top RPGs we are talking about, It would be a tie between F.A.T.A.L. and Racial Holy War (RaHoWa).

halo with no halo there would be no X-box with no X-box there would be no X-box 360 with no X-box 360 there would be no console war and i could look forward to every console game rather than just those on PS3

and on top of that there would be numerous side benefits like a dearth of crappy halo clone brown shooters but also sacrifices like ... i cant really think of any

I can't think of any really horrible games that I have played myself, so I might just remove one that many people find to be completely and absolutely worthless: Kane & Lynch 2.

EDIT: Though the idea of taking something very popular and making it myself is tempting, especially since my family is now in a poor economic situation. In that case, I might consider taking Pokemon (as someone else had mentioned). That is, unless the act of removing it prevents it from ever being made in the future.

I'm going to get a lot of crap for this, I know already, but I chose World of Warcraft. Personally couldn't stand the game when I played it, and the playerbase annoys me to no end.

When I try to explain why, it usually goes something like this...

"I don't like WoW because..."
"WHAT!?!?!?! You don't like WoW?"
"No"
"You're *insert insult here* Have you ever played WoW? You look like the type who plays WoW"
"No, I don't play WoW I've pl..."
"I don't care what you've played, you should play WoW" *walks off*

I have nothing against the game, I just don't like it, and the player base both in-game, and IRL gets on my nerves.

I think you'll find that a lot of members of the player base aren't at all like that. I, for one, have enjoyed WoW primarily in part due to the fact that I play on a roleplaying server and have been a long time member of a Heavy Roleplaying guild. I understand why many people might not like the game, but the combination of the background, history, and feel of the world makes for a good roleplaying setting to me. I've followed the WarCraft games since I was a young child and that probably has a lot to do with it.

I can, however, understand why people wouldn't like the game. It's grindy, there's only so much to do, and there are long periods of waiting between content. It isn't for everyone, but I still think it's a good game.

FF7, since every Final Fantasy after FF6 was, in my professional opinion, complete garbage; AND if it didn't exist, Legend of the Dragoon, an (again in my professional opinion) infinitely better game than FF7, would probably have taken its place.

Oh, and all CoD's after World at War- say what you want about the mp40, it won't change my mind.

inb4 Hal....Oh god dammit. Fucking hipsters.

I would face the wrath of the Owl. Somebody worked on it, why would I make their work cease to exist?
So they could've worked on a better game! :p
Legend of Dragoon was a marginally better game, but it was still kind of meh in terms of RPG's. the plot was ok, but there are many times when I just wanted to slap the writer.
