OT: Scary Movie. Partly to stop the flood of parody movies and partly so Seltzer and Freidberg don't have any reason to be working in Hollywood.
Very much this. V for Vendetta or Watchmen, too. Perhaps these alternate-reality versions would actually do justice the the source material.
V for Vendetta I can understand, but... you don't think Watchmen was faithful to the original?
Yeah, I agree, I honestly think Zach Snyder did about as good as job as anyone could have.

I mean of course I preferred the comic, but that's basically because it'd be impossible to fully include everything in a film, without making it 8 hours long.

Also I'd like to delete Citizen Cain(sp?) So people would have to find another movie they've never watched to point to and say "That's a work of art!".
Citizen Kane is damned good. I might have to stop you from destroying that.

OT: I would say Twilight, but that wouldn't stop the books from existing. After that is The Phantom Menace, but as was said above

...there's too many Star Wars movies to deal with.
Since I can only stop one I can't stop all of the prequels. Therefore, gonna have to say The Wicker Man remake. Or really anything with Nicholas Cage... Tell you what, can I just get rid of Nicholas Cage?
No way Nick Cage movies are too much fun to git rid of, without his movies where would we get wonderful lines like not the bees not the bees ahhhhhh.

OT:Im gonna have to agree with some of the people here and say Dragonball evolution such a utter bad movie.

Going with Terminator Salvation as well. If it died they'd probably have kept making the Sarah Connor Chronicles, which were AWESOME.

Cloverfield all the way.
2hrs of kids running around in a city, am-cam (amateur camera) style, yelling ROB! ROB! ROOOOB!
And you barely get to see the monster. Epic Fail in my book. I've never left a movie more pissed than I was after watching it.

As the 'one movie' part has so far been wilfully ignored I think I'll do the same;

Twilight - It's Twilight and, unlike many who slate them, I've had the misfortune to see all of them (never welch on a lost bet kids!)

Knowing - Ironically named I feel as the writers seemed to just pluck the last half of the film out of the ether, plus I actually used to like Nicholas Cage and this was just another recent stinker to cloud good memories

No Country for Old Men - Dull. Pretentious. Un-fun.

EDIT: Amazingly I forgot the entire Lord of the Rings collection which, for some reason, I just can't get along with. At all. With the exception of the scenery.

Gobots: Battle of the Rock Lords. This the standard by which I measured bad movies. If you don't know what Gobots are then you are lucky. Also Spiderman 3 and Xmen 3 ruined Marvel for me.
Ghost Rider I'll agree with mostly. I thought it was like "The Fifth Element" A bad movie, but I still kinda liked it.

But you also gotta keep in mind that the movie rights for Spiderman and X-Men are owned by FOX.
So as long as they keep shitting out crappy movies they can keep the rights. If they don't do jack with the movies for a certain number of years, then Marvel gets film rights back.
They are waaaaaay too big of a cash crop for FOX to give up, hence the Spiderman Reboot.
Hopefully though, since Disney and Marvel have merged, hopefully they will just buy back the movie rights from FOX and make proper films out of the 2 franchises.

1st place - Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) - see here [http://redlettermedia.com/plinkett/star-wars/] for insight why.

2nd place - Resident Evil (2002) - My brother is so addicted to the Resident Evil franchise right now that it has essentially affected his life, and other people's ability to reach him.

3rd place - Star Trek: Generations (1994) - Check here [http://redlettermedia.com/plinkett/star-trek/] again. It's a shame, because if this was never made, we would never have got to the 2009 Star Trek [http://redlettermedia.com/plinkett/star-trek/star-trek-09/], and Mr. Plinkett would have no reason to exist to make these reviews. It's not like the new film was perfect, but it sure wasn't a Star Wars prequel.

I go on the theory that you destroy the first installment to ensure the sequels would never be made, and be certain the target series is wiped from the universe. It would only work if you used a time machine to stop the production, though.

Ahhh, now this one is a sinch, Son of the Mask. This abomination has no redeeming factors, no reason to exist and stands as the single worst movie I have ever seen in my life.

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot these: Yogi Bear and Big Mommas House 3. Haven't seen them, never plan to.
Yogi Bear movie is terrible, only about 6 people talk in the whole movie and two of them are bears. If your wondering why I went to see, it was because my nephew in law wanted to. -___-

Twilight didn't 'ruin vampires', it's just a bad vampire movie. Sure, it has its derpy tween fanbase, but they're really not worth the attention they're given anyhow. In fact, bitching about it makes it worse.

Did Terminator Salvation ruin the first three? You bet it didn't, you goof.

I, personally would wipe Scary Movie. That movie itself was alright, but the sequels, the horrible, derivative sequels. I shudder to find out what the next one will be.

P.S. I actually thought Salvation was pretty awesome. I try not to read much into action movies and just have that thing some of you used to have, oh right, FUN.
