Seriously, why do we all marry Ysolda? I always liked her because she's ambitious, friendly, and helpful. She has dreams and she chases them.

Why does everyone pick her tho?

(If you dont pick her, who do you usually marry?)

People married people in Skyrim?
People used companions in Skyrim?

Well this is certainly news to me.

My character married Jenassa.

I like strong and artistic women. The character I was playing was sort of a wimp who didn't wear chest armor or helmets because they were to confining. He really needed a tough supporting lady to get him through his time as a "Not-Adventurer". It seemed like the best choice.

Who the hell is Ysolda?

Ysolda lives in whiterun, she hangs around the merchant area.

This :D

Marriage is Skyrim is just so poorly thought out and tacked on, and I never use companions because they just get in the way :D

I married Brenyla whatserface as she was the first person in my game to be nice to me. Once marrying her I realised she was quite boring.

OH... the girl who wants you to bring her a Mammoth tusk? Yeah, she was nice. It makes sense that a lot of players would jump for her. She's the first most interesting lady you meet in Skyrim, theoretically.

Personally, this whole Ysolda favoritism seems weird to me.

The only time I've ever gotten married in Skyrim was to Lydia, because I liked the idea of being a battle couple. Then I understood what everyone meant about the marriage system being tacked on.

Serana is the only non-mod companion I can stand since I more often get in the way of her frying everything in sight than she gets in my way. Mmmm...crispy.

OT: I married that priest girl from Markarth, she sorta seemed interesting.

As you can see she left a huge impression on me.

I married her because I wanted to own the tavern, which didn't happen. Then I was married for months of in game time and found out Ysolda was a drug dealer.

Anyone you marry is instantly boring. They go from being a character with a life and such to the person who sits in your home and bakes you shit. Seriously I'd never want to marry anyone if it ended up like marriage in skyrim. I'd just vist some Dunmer hookers or something.

Well there's also a hauntingly awkward wedding ceremony.

I thought that's what other peoples' houses and possessions were for.
