I didn't expect to find fans over here, by my understandings SYL is not very well known, at least over here in Finland I only know a couple of guys who listen to it. It's really awesome band, too bad they quit few years back

I guess if I were going to be more specific, I'd say Art Rock and all the experimental shit surrounding it. I love me some post-rock, baroque pop, shoegaze, noise, ambient and anything else that sounds pretentious like that. Luckily, it all has one convenient label I can slap on.

Alien is a pretty bad ass album. Townsend is still making music though, on his own.

"Rock" I guess. My musical taste is pretty broad but I definately prefer Rock and many of its sub-genres over other musical styles like Jazz, Classical, Electronic, or Folk. Not to say that I don't have songs from those genres that I like, its just that I really like Rock. I like your classic rock, metal, punk, industrial, alternative-rock, punk-rock, whatever sub-genres of rock you can come up with. I probably like it.
