I would wish for a guardian angel, preferably female and attractive, who watched over me and caused Deus Ex Machina-esque events throughout my life that enabled me to succeed in whatever I realistically attempted.

Invincibility, with negation of pain limitations.

I've always thought that if someone was invincible eventually they'd not feel pain anymore, or at least it would be extremely negotiable.

Myself, I tend to exploit rules.

I'd go for indestructable Nano-Machines that instantaniously heal any wound, including cell-death, and disable the pain sensing part of my brain.

See, what I did there was guarentee myself an extremely long life and very nearly invincibility. However when the world/universe blows up I'll go with it. I don't really want to be floating around for infinity.

Plus I can jump off buildings for fun without a problem.

Nano Machines would easily be stopped via electromagnetic interference. Plus, I wouldn't want pain removed-I'd just want pain to not be a limitation, so I could push my body further without fear of the feeling of pain.

That's a pretty interesting request, removing the concept of pain as a limitation, I'm wondering how it'd be pulled off. But still a good idea.

I would compile a list of powers, and stuff (and anti-evil-wishmaster failsafes) into a a small pamphlet and wish for:

"Change my now experienced reality in the way described in this pamphlet i am holding right now in my right hand and interpret it, if even unsure, in the way most beneficial to my current state of mind (Or as I would, if explaining it)"

After that i get a crapload of powers, do not age or can be injured. Have no problems coming with living too long for a human, can end my existance at will. Know the unknowable and have access to great stuff and money. Pretty sweet.

Good point. I thought this was one of those "genie in a lamp" theory kinda things, not a person that can grant wishes

The ability to fly as fast as I want anywhere(like even is space as long as I could hold my breath(meaning I wouldn't freeze)) or the ability to get of any pain in anybody at any time no matter what.
