This. Without those boots (or whatever they are), the portal gun is nice, but there are many stunts you wouldn't be able to do.

Have one or several items fall(Faster and faster because of gravity which is free) to power a series of fans around the portals it falling so fast will start to cause a infinite slipstream that will being to turn the fans that can generate power.

I'd portal a ceiling and the floor directly under, and attempt to fall asleep while falling forever...Why this is the idea that comes to mind if I had a portal gun is beyond me.
