I'd make them remake all the old school RPGs in something similiar to the DA2 engine with turn based combat included. Then put em in a bundle and market it as a single game(to appease the conditions).

Zombie mmo. A full out blown one, with a dedicated single player mode set in the pre-apocoliptic stage, where the infection is still spreading and shopping centres are being looted, fights are breaking out and riots are only making things worse. It would act as a tutorial for the actual mmo as well, teaching combat, improvised weapon development, and other cases to help settlement development.

Oh yeah, the mmo's gonna have settlements built from scratch by the players. No capital cities, no lore important npcs-everythings determined by the players themselfs. Groups would have their guild/gang/whatever build their own town, and have people with different backstorys doing different jobs (Gathers for food, tacticians for combat and settlement defense, scientists for upgrading others usefulness, doctors for helping injured members, builders for barricades and basic houses ect ect) and the only help they would get is if they built their settlement by say a farm for food, or a block of houses for occupation. These would be limited however, and town wars to steal locations or resources would be common. These settlements would have to use efficent management at the beginning, with npcs only appearing to help once the players show competence (Builders leveled their skill enough to repair a partally collapsed house? they now automatically repair slightly damaged barricades even when offline). Global zombie spawn rates would depend on the current amount of people who have joined the game, and the relative sizes of the settlements to constantly keep a challenge and prevent the whole game being civiliazed.

There would be no quests either- your expected to help in any way possible to help develop your settlement, such as going into the nearby zombie infested lab to gather notes on how a bite spreads the disease (these kinda places would run like instances in wow, and never be civiliationable), which upon collecting would allow doctors in your settlement to begin development on a suppessor for your explorers, which would prevent zombie bites from turning you when active.

Oh yeah, and if you die, you die for reals. If you make a new character afterwards, you would keep any items you had on you (storyline explanition would be that you found them on previous characters corpse), instantly be re-accepted into your old settlement ect ect, but with your previous professions reset to basics.

Theres more I have in the back of my head, but that would go wayyyyyyyyy to far in.

Without the slightest trace of doubt the priority I'd set to make a KOTOR 3 with the story being on what happend to your character after the first game and with a character import like in Mass Effect with.

Also, have two different storylines based on wether you chose LS or DS

At second place I would have them make a Just Cause 3 with co-op and multiplayer

I would make an RPG, either in a normal series, or a giant virtual reality MMO where you can do anything, from just making a pie to taking over said world (or leading a rebellion against a player who took the first option). I would probably set it in a Neverwinter night's, Fable, or Dragon age style setting if its a fantasy, or in a K.O.T.O.R., or MASS effect style setting if it's Sci-FI. you get stronger as you went along but, like in life have you get power through actual experiences, like if you wanted to use magic, you have to hunt down and find the spell yourself not just get after killing a few people.

like many others I would fire the majority of the staff and get only quality. If I did go for the game series thing instead of the virtual reality I would hire the best Sci-Fi or Fantasy writers for scripts, professional architects for design etc.

Game of Highlander.
You can choose to start literally anywhere in the world and it is set between early man and about two thousand years in the future. Everything you do impacts the course of human history, including but not restricted to; knocking off historical figures, inventing things before/after their time, changing the outcome of war, prevention of natural disaster, creation of artificial disease and the discovery of aliens.
All this forming the backdrop to your neverending quest to kill every other immortal on the planet.
say it with me folks
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE

I'd make either a racing MMO that takes place around the whole world, with every road mapped out and randomly generated races based on those roads, or I'd make a FPS-RTS where you control one person at the beginning of humanity, building your civilization and raising a family. Then, when you die, you play as your child. It would go all the way from the beginning of humanity, to present day, and maybe the future. If you play the cards right, your descendants would eventually be the rulers of the world, or they could turn into Joe-schmo who works at McDonald's.

I have multiple projects

A realistic zombie game where you interact with other survivors and have to find resources like weapons, food, etc.

A realistic FPS where you play a police officer and gradually move up and become a part of a SWAT team.

A game where the protagonist has telekinesis

Split them into teams of 100, and each make a prototype of a game they like. Then, I choose one, and each team goes off and works on a version. I choose the best, again.

A Total War style FPS MMO, with teams of a couple of hundred people on each side, it could have medieval maps, modern maps, ship warfare, and fully destructible terrain, massive maps that have room for flanking manouevers.

No leveling system, so everyone is equal, just with minor customisation

You could recreate historic battles, D-Day (It's been done, but never with everyone on each team being controlled by a human, and could even have stages, so some people can assault Pont Du Hoc, others get parachuted in, others go in on the boats.)

And you could have massive fantasy battles, with powerups that turn you into an unstoppable juggernaut, or make your weapon an instant kill device, fighter jets to fly and dogfight in etc.

I'd remake Final Fantasy 7, not because i'm a fan of the game, but because i'd make so much money. Seriously, everyone knows that's what Square has to do to give itself a little boost in the right direction.

Wow, I think I got ninja'd by the OP. Erm, well if I can't pick that, I guess a real, truly open-world zombie game. Instead of just starting somewhere in particular, you could choose a former profession, location to start, etc. It'd be one hell of a feat, but I guess that's the point of this thread, isn't it?

Full blown war game, you choose how you want to play in a TBS, RTS or shooter format and it encompasses all of the currently known wars of history also featuring alternate timelines such as if the Anglo-Zanzibar War had ended in British defeat.

A 3-hour indie game about a small boy in a terrifying world, who at some point loses his innocence along the way.

Or a new Metal Arms game.

I would make a game where you can play the greatest wars of history as a character with super human powers and with amazingly awesome graphics and physics. Oh, and it will have a great plot and character development.
