Well, Even though i hate both Canada and Mexico, i would move to Canada because i would atleast be able to communicate with them, and i wouldn't have to worry about getting killed, hallowed out and stuffed with drugs and sent across the Rio Grande back into the U.S. if i was in Mexico

I live in Canada. By the rules I suppose I can pick Denmark(Greenland), The UK the US or Russia. Greenland is bloody cold, the politics in the US are completely, not borderline but bloody completely insane, Russia has a genuine true to life Bond Villain for a leader so that leave the UK.

Good thing I have adventurous food tastes because I hear the food there is...difficult to get used to. At least there is less snow.

1) Can I have a M1897 Winchester "Trenchgun" [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_Model_1897#Grades_of_the_Model_97] (pump shotgun with a bayonet lug) and a Colt .45 Pistol [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1911_pistol] and can I use them for self defense?
2) How is Canadas record in Interventionalism (stepping in and stopping conflict in other countries)?
3) How often is your conservative party elected?
4) Is Patriotism viewed in a negative light there?
5) How popular is the idea of a Flat Tax?
6) Is open displays of faith frowned upon?
7) How popular is country music up there?
1) I am not too sure. You certainly are allowed to own guns here (though with some restrictions). Though it's certainly not to the same degree as in the States.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_Canada More info than I can provide if you want.

2) We tend to pretty involved actually. Our military is relatively small (all volunteer) but quite effective. We still have soldiers in Afghanistan for instance, and we helped with Libya last year. Actually former Canadian Prime Minister Lester Pearson is credited with basically inventing UN peacekeeping.

3) The Canadian conservative party currently has a majority government (though I will grant you that they have some serious popularity issues with a lot of Canadians at the moment, so next election may alter that).

4) No, not really. We pretty much love our country and aren't afraid to say it (stereotypical Canadian politeness might force to add some modest remark about other places being nice too though ;) But as an example Canada Day (basically our 4th of July) involves thousands of people wearing white and red and painting the maple leaf on their faces while watching fireworks.

5) We are probably more socially democratic than you guys on that one, but honestly I don't know too much about it.

6) We aren't France, so it's all good. We just tend to be less in other peoples faces about it. That being said we do actually have 'God' in our national anthem.

7) Country music is plenty popular up here. Especially in certain areas. Alberta for one.

Just thought I'd answer as best I could, hope that gives you some more insight on your neighbours to the North!

Oh, and as relates to the topic, the right to more easily own guns is actually one of the reasons I wouldn't mind moving to the States.

I live in the UK so my options are France, Belgium and Ireland. For me its absolutly no contest as I love Ireland and am at best indifferent about France and Belgium. Plus the fact that the Irish speak English as a first language is a big plus.

Well, I live in Argentina. So my choices are Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay or Brazil... I guess it will be Uruguay since we are not that different, but Brazil sounds tempting too.
How do you get over Portuguese though? I hate the language. It's like drunk Spanish.

I live in Argentina. So my options are Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. Brazil's out since I don't know Portuguese. Paraguay and Bolivia are too damn miserable, thank you very much. This leaves either Chile or Uruguay. Here I'm more partial to Uruguay (Argentina's Canada :p). Besides I've got family there. And I wouldn't miss much of anything. It's like a cleaner, mini Argentina.
What Portuguese sounds like drunk Spanish? Brazilian Portuguese or 'original' Portuguese? Either of those beats Spanish.

As I currently live in Belgium, I would either choose Netherlands or Luxembourg.
What is this, a boxing match, Tintin?

Czech Republic here, so Germany, Poland, Slovakia or Austria... I think I´d choose Slovakia which would be like no change at all (we even used to be one country), or maybe Germany, dunno... Go west!

Being from the US, I guess I can choose between Canada, Mexico, Russia, Cuba, and The Bahamas. Mexico is a borderline third world country with a serious drug problem (thanks largely in part to batshit retarded politicians in the United States), Russia is cool but the language is one of the hardest to learn (says the guy learning Japanese), Cuba is like Mexico but Communist, the Bahamas are cool but I can't say I'd want to live there full-time. Toronto, here I come! Tallest observation deck in North America, the largest underground pedestrian tunnel network in the world, and the home of Scott Pilgrim? Fuck yeah!

France? It's bad enough dealing with Quebec, and you'd want to move to France?

The only proper choice is Denmark.

Well, according to Sarah Palin, I believe Russia is an option because you can see it.

The UK counts as one country, no?

Your choices are R.o.I France and I think Jersey but maybe something northeast.

Don't pick Jersey it's so bloody small.

I live in Germany, and I would most likely move to Austria, since it's the only neighbouring country where I speak the language. Also, I like mountains.
