Being Australian, I guess New Zealand is the only logical place to turn. It always seemed to me to be a better country than Aus anyway, so I would have no qualms about it.
Fuck NZ, I'd go to New Caledonia, no question. If I ever got sick of it there I could always go to Paris or something considering it's technically part of France.

I'm Dutch so that'd be a toss-up between the UK and Belgium, since I can't speak German for the life of me.

I'd probably pick Belgium, it's much more similar and probably has the better weather.

I'm torn between NZ and Timor,
NZ because us and the Kiwis are pretty much the same (as in, closer than the yanks and the Canadians) or
Timor because, well I just love the country and the people.

I live in England... so Scotland, that's pretty and if I spend enough time there I'm sure I'd learn to love the skirts.

As an Australian, I'd have to pick Germany if one were to torture logic enough; due to Pau Pa New Guinea being a former colony of Australia, which itself was a former colony of Germany... (Also by that logic if I were to stretch it far enough and not consider the Australia Act of 197/80 something I could also consider any country bordering France, since that was part of England...)

But why Germany? Because Norwegians sound funny, and I doubt I could torture logic enough to get me surrounded by Norwegians in Norweigh.

Well given the choice between Mexico or Canada, I'd go up north. The only thing appealing about going to Mexico would be the warm weather since I really don't like cold weather. But all things considered, Canada is pretty much the same as America, just Canadian. And I know that doesn't make much sense, but at the same time maybe you'll see that it makes total sense. :3

That and there's a certain habit that's being gradually legalized across America but most states still consider it illegal, but in Canada they seem much more lenient about it. :3

That, and I know a lot of very cute gamer girls up in Canada and I've a number of friends up there too. All in all it'd really be as though I decided for myself that I wanted to move to Canada rather than being forced to as some type of punishment. Wouldn't be that bad at all.

So, Denmark doesn't want me anymore because I'm not giving in to the dictatorship of collectivism? Cool! Back to Germany it is!

Denmark, Finland or Norway... While it's expensive in norway, they're also filthy rich, so I'd pick them. Also since I'm Swedish, understanding them wouldn't be hard.

If you assume we get the ability to speak the language then I'd be off to Norway in the blink of an eye. Otherwise, Ireland.

England considering it is the only country I share a border with... Not that bad if I can get past the Torys and the subways... And Geordies... Ugh... I freaking hate Geordies... Well, people who act like Geordies, I'm sure you can be from Blackpool without being one but... Ugh...

NZ to the East, PNG & Timor to the North, huge expanse of ocean to the west and Antarctica to the south. I guess Antarctica...

NZ would be the way to go.

Since its the same government, does that mean I'm not allowed to pick Scotland, England or Wales? If I could I'd pick Scotland but otherwise, I think my choices are the Republic of Ireland, France and Germany.

Probably the R.o.I. since I'm not too far away and also I don't speak German or French - I know I could learn one or the other but I'd rather not HAVE to.

Well....this isn't very difficult :)

I'm an American (Minnesota to be precise)

Mexico: Terribly poor country with a fairly corrupt government and a drug war that is killing thousands.
Canada: Just like America except a little bit more French and has Universal Health Care

Shit, I could hope into my car and be in Canada by the end of the day if I wanted to. See you in Canada eh.

Silly Canada joke time! "So I was looking through the history book and saw that it's supposed to be called CND. However, every time someone asked how to spell it, Canadians would say C eh N eh D eh! and the name stuck!

Minnesotan here to. My home town is separated from Canada by a river. Seeing as how similar the culture is, I'd choose Canada as well. I think I'd want to move out to Vancouver. I've heard it's pretty nice.

The choice is between Norway and Finland, so I'm not sure - on one hand, Norwegian is easier to learn, but on the other a lot of Finns already know Swedish, and Finland is actually in the EU while Norway is a bunch of whale-hunting, America-sympathizing pricks.

Eh, I guess I'll risk being on the Russian border and head over to Finland.

Well I don't exactly have much choice. I'm Scottish so I'm being forced down to...[dramatic pause] England.

[HEADING=1]Noooooooooooooooooooo![/HEADING]

I'm only kidding, I wouldn't mind England, the people I've meant whilst being down there seem like perfectly good people, and I can always have a laugh with the various Englanders in Brovengers chat and the like. I would need to import Irn Bru from Scotland though.

Irn Bru is available in England.

Oddly enough its illegal in the US.

OT: I pick Whales. Seems nicer than Scotland. Plus given my accent two minutes after entering Edinburgh I'd be a beat up pulp.
Oh I know England has Irn Bru, it's just that it doesn't taste as good =P (or at least that was my opinion the last time I bought it when I was down England way.
