I can't stand the French!
What is it with you people?
Come on, you're making me feel down over here..
It's nothing against you personally... it's just the jovial rhetoric that has been passed on through the centuries... As a proud Brit I am not allowed to be seen to like the French... Although I have met some French people who are absolutely fine!

However I have also had to work with your military... and, um... Please... never again!

Hmm. I haven't really heard good things about Mexico right now. So, looks like I'm moving to Canada. That doesn't sound too bad actually.
Have American citizens ever heard good things about Mexico....
Actually, I have been to Mexico on vacation quite a few times in the past. And it is pretty nice there.
My point exactly

Well, the Netherlands border two countries, Belgium and Germany. So it really is a no-brainer and I pick Belgium. Pretty much no difference but with better food and nicer people (and terrible road sign-age, but I'll manage to live with that).

Taking a slightly longer view (including across the water), there's the UK, which is a nice place to visit, but I don't think I'd want to live there for the rest of my life.
If your government doesn't mind we could switch houses. Though France does sound tempting.

Brazil. I would have problems with the language at first, but its better than living in Argentina.

I would pretty much just kill myself, I would never want to live in the USA or Russia. Then there is Greenland, I know nothing about that country other than it is probably cold alot :(

Oh Canada! Our cold ass native land.

I could handle the temperature in Canada better than the temperature in Mexico, also I wouldn't have to learn Spanish.

I'd love to here what some one from Japan, Cuba or New Zealand would say since it's ocean that boarders their countries.
They'd have to live on a boat!

If we really want to get technical, and most likely piss off one of maybe two groups, I can just head up north, hop over a border and suddenly be in part of the UK.

There are lots of little tiny islands I could move to to, Isle of Man, Aran Islands, and of the course the biggy, Britain.

Well, since I live in GB, my choice is either Eire or Spain (at least as far as I can think). I'd go Ireland, it's not hot, and I can speak the language. xD

EDIT: Fine, let's keep this interesting for the rest of you fellow Americans. WHERE in Canada would you move?
[sub]Jesus, so much for my brilliant thread topics.[/sub]

Uhhhh... Is it bad that I can't name any part of Canada? I always thought it was just one big Canada.

As a resident of the United States, my choice would be Canada. No debate. They are everything the US should be.

To be more specific, I would go to either Vancouver or Toronto. My choice would likely be skewed towards the latter because I have family in Toronto...

As a proud AMERICAN i would have to pick Russia by way of Alaska. The government sucks but they could teach me how to pile drive bears. Bears which would then be turned into awesome hats and dinner.

Gotta be Mexico. Way better babes. Way better parties. Dollar is way stronger than the Mexican Peso. Weather is a million times better. Spanish is a gangster language. And if you're that worried about safety, just pick a tourist spot to live the rest of your time. Mexico has got a shit ton of those.

By the way, and in case you didn't already know, just by glancing through this thread you can get a good idea of America's general feelings towards Mexicans...
actually it is our attitude about mexico, not its people. I have heard good things about its people (also heard they are pretty good with silver). But the drug wars, weather, and general poverity are a big detrement. if there wasnt anything wrong with mexico, its people would not flock to our country so much that illegal immigrants are a concern.

that and the language barrier. Although honestly i would imagine that the weather is a major factor.

Anyway, Canada. I'd move their in real life, but their immigration process is impossible. If I had to choose a place? Qubec city, or Vancouver. Both of those places seem nice.

well then in New Zealand we have a pick of Australia or any one of countless south pacific tropical island nations its a no brainer really tropical island so long as i can run my business from there and we have power and internet its a step up hell i could even expand into tropical island except there tends to not be very much money floating around and there is a bit too much corruption for my liking

Mexico, Mexicans...Whatever. We can assume you have also chosen Canada.
