Hmmm when people make message board post about stuff they would never have the balls to do makes my slap hand mad with rage.
If I could, I'd slap those people too. Unfortunately, I'm paid to be nice to them. So please, next time you get that urge, give in.Flight said:Whenever somebody goes into a store and treats the workers there poorly because they're paid to be nice to them, I want to slap them.
Glad to hear you're on the mendafaceforradio said:Ah it's okay, I'm seven months in and almost done with treatment so I've even more reason to smileOh That Dude said:Ah, sorry to hear that. I guess that would kinda change ones outlook. I so admire your courage in being strong enough to keep trying to enjoy life, but one thing: Does it annoy that some aren't able, or feel unable, to take that route enough to slap them? A friend of mine put it well: Humans are vessels, of many different sizes and shapes. We can all hold different amounts. Some people can tolerate extremely difficult circumstances, some cannot get through things that seem minor in comparison.afaceforradio said:Ah no see, my point is totally valid and I stand by it 100% - I have Cancer, which my body won't fight on its own, I can't choose to not have it and I can't do anything about the treatment I'm having or the effects it has on me. So I can either sulk and whine and feel sorry for myself or I can just get on with my life and accept that it has to be done and try to enjoy life.
I wouldn't actually slap anyone over anything, it was listed as a general 'makes me annoyed enough to want to slap them' kinda thing, if you get me.
I get it if people are told that they're dying and there's nothing can be done: that puts a different spin on things.
However, I see so many people online in Cancer forums and whatnot that whine about losing their hair and (god forbid) their eyebrows when they're trying to survive it just irks me. Hair is NOTHING when your life is on the line! You know what I mean?
So this, but replace 1 hour with 3 =(!Girl With One Eye said:"I'll be there in 10 mins"

That so sounds like a friend of mine, just without the reasonable and intelligent part. =3FargoDog said:One of my normally incredibly reasonable and intelligent friends said this-
'I don't like anime. All it does is make women with huge unrealistic boobs and sexualises them to a point where it's uncomfortable to watch.'
Luckily Istapled him to a chair and forcedconvinced him to watch Death Note, so he did come around.
