Whenever somebody goes into a store and treats the workers there poorly because they're paid to be nice to them, I want to slap them.
If I could, I'd slap those people too. Unfortunately, I'm paid to be nice to them. So please, next time you get that urge, give in.

Ah no see, my point is totally valid and I stand by it 100% - I have Cancer, which my body won't fight on its own, I can't choose to not have it and I can't do anything about the treatment I'm having or the effects it has on me. So I can either sulk and whine and feel sorry for myself or I can just get on with my life and accept that it has to be done and try to enjoy life.
Ah, sorry to hear that. I guess that would kinda change ones outlook. I so admire your courage in being strong enough to keep trying to enjoy life, but one thing: Does it annoy that some aren't able, or feel unable, to take that route enough to slap them? A friend of mine put it well: Humans are vessels, of many different sizes and shapes. We can all hold different amounts. Some people can tolerate extremely difficult circumstances, some cannot get through things that seem minor in comparison.
Ah it's okay, I'm seven months in and almost done with treatment so I've even more reason to smile :)

I wouldn't actually slap anyone over anything, it was listed as a general 'makes me annoyed enough to want to slap them' kinda thing, if you get me.

I get it if people are told that they're dying and there's nothing can be done: that puts a different spin on things.

However, I see so many people online in Cancer forums and whatnot that whine about losing their hair and (god forbid) their eyebrows when they're trying to survive it just irks me. Hair is NOTHING when your life is on the line! You know what I mean?
Glad to hear you're on the mend :D

I get what you mean about people who get upset over things like hair loss being irritating bearing in mind they've got bigger problems, I guess it's just lack of perspective really. On the other hand, you can have a case of the straw that breaks the camels back, you know?

There's not many things I can categorically say I'd be angry about, it really depends on the context. Maybe that's unfair of me, I dunno. I do get angry at people too much though, I know that much, lol.

One of my normally incredibly reasonable and intelligent friends said this-

'I don't like anime. All it does is make women with huge unrealistic boobs and sexualises them to a point where it's uncomfortable to watch.'

Luckily I stapled him to a chair and forced convinced him to watch Death Note, so he did come around.
That so sounds like a friend of mine, just without the reasonable and intelligent part. =3

Funny think is, I think Death Note was one of the ones he loved o_O
