The more high-level math classes I take the more I find myself thinking about math without any real reason. At one point at a stop light, I suddenly thought it was odd that, as a kid I always thought that taking the square root of a number was in some way connected to dividing by two. Then I thought, well at least it works for one number (4). Then I quickly realized that 9 can be divided by three to achieve it's root and quickly worked my way up to 12 in my head. As I went along I became more and more excited (I felt I was on the cusp of something brilliant), but then, just as I was considering the enormity of the idea, I realized "Oh yea, that's how it has always worked". Then the light turned green and I went on my merry little way.

I also tend to bring up high level math in places where it's almost certainly not necessary. And I am a fan of awful movies (I don't know what that qualifies me as to be honest). More importantly, I'm willing (and eager) to argue about most any subject with just about anyone - not so much because I think my position is right (I often take a side I don't really believe in) but because I enjoy the sport of it all. But my most damning proof of nerdom: I fence. I suspected that fencing was the nerdiest of all sports until I found that every single member of my University fencing team is an honor student. I'm not sure what ratio of players in other sports have on the honor rolls, but I'm pretty sure we're beating out the football and basketball teams by a wide margin.

Arguing over which lightsaber form is superior to another.

Example: Djem So > Makashi, etc.

sometimes i play dungeons and dragons with my boyfriend and his mates. and to me this is the nerdiest thing on the planet even though its lots of fun. but what makes it worse is, whenever i'm with my boyfriend i'll always make dnd references.
For example, say i was trying to sneak up on him and i failed, i would say "well what do you expect ive only got 4 stealth and i didnt roll high enough." and stuff like that.
also i always neglect to tell peopel that i play dnd, if they ask what im doing on the weekend i'll reply "oh you know, nothing interesting."

I've spent hours just thinking about how I would prepare for a zombie apocalypse.

Argue WOW topics with my addicted friends. They were shameless gamers, whilst I was at least trying to keep on a facade of coolness in public.

Needless to say, I failed.

Being superior to those who would call you a nerd for talking about things beyond their mental comprehension. If someone was not interested in what me and a "nerd" friend were talking about, they would say "you guys are crazy" and leave. I've only been called a nerd in a truly hateful way by one person, who thought that memorising pi was not an admirable pursuit, "what's the point?". I should have jumped on him by asking what the point of anything was, but I didn't, which I now regret. If you question what the point of everything, nothing would have a point, as nothing has a point until you give it value. Since you would not give value to anything, you yourself would have no value. To be honest, you would have no desire to live, and might as well just die. Quite a bit on the late side, and the won't even read this side, but eat it, fatty. (Sorry)
I guess memorising pi to the one hundred and seventy fifth digit is the first thing I can think of.

In KOTOR (1 or 2 I don't remember) I belive there were multiple forms you could learn that affected how you used your lightsaber. One helped deflect blaster shots, another made you more resistant to the force, another was good for multiple enemies, and another was for single enemies.

"Why are all those people spinning around in place in Pokemon?"
