The list is actually longer than I'd like to admit. I have a bad habit of starting a game, playing it halfway through and then getting busy with school or work and by the time I can get back to the game I either have something new I want to play or I've completely forgotten the story. This same thing happens to me with books.

Quake 4. Curse you ub3r hardness!
MS Saga: A New Dawn. Last boss is ub3r hard. I threw the controller to the ground and told JRPGs to go to hell.

i'll finish eventually... maybe
A good trick for grinding in FF games is having a laptop with a DVD player. Somehow, grinding seems less annoying when you watch a movie.

Final Fantasy 8 and 12. VIII because I'm lost and I don't play PS1 much anymore, XII because my 360 is stealing all my attention.

The first Kingdom Hearts. I can't remember where I stopped but after a few months I just had to play it again, and beat it

Oh my, yes, so true... reminds me when I was getting chains of 80... the final boss isn't hard, just the side bosses, so grinding isn't necessary.

Dead Rising.

I was early into it escorting people from the food court, outside, back to the safe room. I had to carry a crying girl, set her down, run back and help everyone else to get to her location... so I leapfrogged all the way to the other side of the mall. Made the mistake of giving a survivor a guitar to help out with... and as I got to the safe house door to open it, he swings the guitar a zombie, misses and hits me. I die and it wants me to start over. I said "No fucking way" and haven't played it since.

And I never beat the final boss on Prototype. I don't know if I went in with the wrong things upgraded or what... I just can't beat him once the timer starts.

I fucking hate the Killa Croc level. Which is a shame cus right up til then, I was enjoying myself lots.
It's pretty easy, to be honest.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a swine for fucking games off when they get too difficult but that wasn't too bad. Wait 'til you get to the last Joker levels. Jokers a piece of piss but the henchmen fight before that...
I didn't say it was difficult, I said I fucking hate it. Its dull, boring, and if you accidently hit the stick too far forward or fall sleep whilst waiting for Croc to pop up...ergh. Its a shame because the game was just raw awesome before that.

And to be honest, I've never really liked boss fights myself.

Yes, I have thought "Man, I really should finish that game" with almost 90% of my games. There is SO DAMN much I haven't finished yet...
How many? I've literally got about 35 games I haven't finished yet.
Same then there are games like MGS3&4, Disgaea 3 and God Hand which ive gone through about 8 times each

Fair enough, my bad. It's not the most exciting of levels. But once it's done there's nothing similar you'll be pleased to hear.

Disgaea. Well, I completed the main storyline but...

Forza 3. I WILL do it! It's just a matter of (a lot of) time...

GTA4 - it got boring after a while. I did San Andreas and all the previous ones though.

Better ask me what games I HAVE completed.

I haven't completed more than a half of the games on my PC. Damn Modern Warfare 2 ruined everything.

Borderlands (blame Dragon Age), Vampire : Bloodlines, Saw, Operation Flashpoint 2, Left 4 Dead 2, The Saboteur (which isn't a suprise, because it came out only a week ago) and Dragon Age. The funny thing is, I'm only stuck in Dragon Age (damn Broodmother) but I'm just too lazy to finish the rest of them.

I'm also playing Mass Effect for the third time. I want to make a perfect playthrough, with the best character I can build for the sequel.

I stopped playing Resistance 2, and the simpsons game. Pretty much anything shiny pulled me away. i've tried to go back but meh.. the moment has passed. Even though both are fun in their own way.

games I still have not finished FEAR 2, Valkyria chronicles, Prince of Persia, Bioshock, and both God of War games.

I might get the God of War Collection for Christmas and try and finish it than.

Red Faction Guerrilla comes to mind. Started playing it, then Tekken 6 came into my life. Then the disc broke. Haven't played my Xbox much since.

I still need to finish persona 4. Amazing game, but sometimes the dungeon grinding can be a real put off.
