"Use a condom and if you don't, you better be a good person."

I think that gets everything nice and subtle.

My father said to my older sister's date this, with a deadly serious expression and I shall never forget it as long as I live.

"Have her back by one in the morning or there'll be trouble. I've got a shotgun and a shovel and I'm not sure anyone will miss you."

My grandpa was a cop, and he used to sit in the livingroom cleaning his gun while my mom had men over.

My husband and I would go in on this together. We really don't have any guns, but you can pretend right? So I would have him in the house pointing a laser cat toy at the boys chest when he walked up to the porch. I would answer the door, notice the red dot, point at it and say something like, " Oh nooo, he's got that rifle out again?! It's nice to meet you, just have a seat on this stool and keep your hands in plain site." Then after I went to retrieve my daughter and husband he would be dressed all in black with his Japanese sword, because we do have one of those!

shadow him in a ninja-esque manner :p
If they go to a room, just knock and leave a big box of condoms in front of the door XD

"My daughter? You mean my son, right?"
Brilliant, as long as nothing sexual has happened between them it'd be perfect.

Or this:

"Uhh... Hey who are you?"
"I'm ____ here to take your daughter to prom?"
"But she's already left with that other guy"
"Umm... what?"
"She already went to prom with some other guy"
*Heartbreak*

"JOKES! ____ get down here! Why are you crying?"
Cruel, and quit original seeing as most peoples are threats.

Eye the lad up and down with my steely mother's eye, whisper in my daughter's ear, eye the lad again, giggle softly, look at my husband and say "he'll do", snap a pic of the sweet young couple and leave the room. Hopefully the poor guy will be unnerved enough to be a gentleman.

Either that or let him know I'll be up waiting, in case the date doesn't go as he hopes.

Can't decide which would creep him out more...

Or wait, what about realizing we'd raised a strong, intelligent young woman who chooses her friends well and values herself?
