Alien followed closely by Aliens.

Alien is just genius, and Aliens is good for one liners.

It's funny because that was also in Timesplitters: Future Perfect.

Yeah I have much love for The Thing (apparently there was more than one, but I only saw the Kurt Russell one), District 9, Predator and, of course, Aliens.

edit: oh shit! I forgot Starship Troopers! You know what, just put me down for all of them...

Does Taken count? It was a series of 2 hours films by Speilburg(SP). It outstrips any Alien story I've ever seen.

I really enjoy Sci Fi so several, but honorable mentions go to:
Alien
Aliens
Starship Troopers (I know it is bad, but I LOVE IT)
Stark Trek 2 (Technically, there are aliens over there =D)

I haven't really watched all that many 'Alien' movies, but I guess of the ones I've watched, my favourite would be Aliens.

Yeah, as in movie #2 of the trillogy, because 4 was an ass-pull quadrilogy of Alien movies featuring the Xenomorphs.

I also liked Starship Troopers too... don't ask me why. I don't know.

Aliens, obviously. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's my favourite film of all, though Terminator 2 is pretty damn close.

Oh and to whoever said Tremors; Graboids are not aliens.

Oh, one of the Alien films.
I recently watched Alien and Alien 3.
Damn, those are both fine films, and despite their age, are still going strong.

Aliens!

Easily the greatest animatronic ever made, almost the entirety of it's 'performance' in Aliens is unedited, that's how it good it was. Even the Jurassic park T-Rex wasn't that effective.

Although I am quite partial to Starship Trooper's gleeful facism as well.

District 9, it was a good film, orginal plot and great actors. But also because for once I could relate to the characters and where they were. I was born and rasied in Zimbabwe and South Africa isn't that different. The words they used, the accent was all so familiar to me it made me feel like I was home again.
Avatar was beautiful, but was basicly just Dances with Smurfs with CGI everywhere.
All the alien films from Alien to Ressurection.
Predator, still my favorite alien race yet.

Anyone remember this one...

I remember liking it, but I was... 11, maybe?

I'll go with Aliens. Or Alien, depending on what mood I'm in.

War of the Worlds (the newest one - with Cruise) is my favorite alien themed movie. I know that is probably an unpopular choice, but I really enjoyed it.
