Dunwich Building.

Just listen to the recordings.
That place was freaky, what was with the hallucination with the doctor and the glowing ghoul.

The Citadel. The one thing that I wanted to do more than anything else in Fallout 3 was join the Brotherhood of Steel.

I went around and spoke to EVERY SINGLE PERSON in there to see if I could join...
In Broken Steel, the dlc coming out after The Pitt, I think you can join the BoS.

I dunno, there are so many cool places... but one that seems to stick out is the stretch of DC along the river while I was walking to Rivet City for the first time. I had so much fun doing that. And the Mall is really cool too.

My own favorite is the hidden area north of Takoma industrial with the sad little story that happened there and the exposition you discover hidden on a computer.
Care to enlighten people about it?
No prob

If you exit the Takoma Industrial factory through the north doors and you'll be at a canal with some muties roaming around. Use the fallen metal structure in the water to cross the canal to the other side. You can also get over by finding a little ledge on the north side near the structure.

Continue along the ledge and turn north and left at the end to find a hidden passage which leads you into a large irradiated area with some feral ghouls and a backstory which I'm not gonna spoil here!

Little Lamplight.

For some reason, I would always feel better after visiting that cavern full of kids (for me I always thought of them a somthing of the wastelends future, and also I just loved talking to McCredy, its funny hearing a kid swear more than any of the other characters in the game)
Really? I downloaded a mod just so I could kill the annoying little brats.
I also hated little lamplight, because it always took endless wondering around to find whichever annoying brat you were searching for. McReedy is an arrogant prick and Princess made me want to commit infantacide.
Same here. The place is a freakin maze, and Princess drove me to insanity for a few minutes. Makes me wish the xbox version had mods... Anyway, Paradise Falls is great with dead slavers all over the place, and tons of free loot!!

Anywhere that I wasn't getting shot. :[ I actually liked the whole area around Rivet City, and Rivet City itself.
So I am not the only one who avoids the unavoidable combat in fallout 3 to the best of my abilities.

Wow, its hard to pick a favorite area.

I'm gonna go with Vault 106. My first time through this vault, it seriously scared the crap out of me, something not easily done. It was so creepy and you never knew when the "blue" was gonna come or how long it was gonna last. Talking to myself through the computer...classic!

The vault with all the Garys
lol. I love that place. GARY!
That place is great. I also like the vault with the Nitrous; that was a trip.

But when it comes to my favorite it would have to be Evergreen Mills or the Capitol Building. Good fighting.

Not to mention a giant Donut Man!

After wasting everyone in paradise falls in an orgy of claret, I left Eulogy's head proudly sitting next to his body on the pool table as a warning to any more would-be slavers :)

Little lamplight was indeed a horible maze... it took me 20 mins to find the damn back entrance to the vault...
