I really liked Thor. The Hulk had some of the best moments, but Thor seemed a most interesting character.

Anyone who doesn't say Hulk, Thor, Or Antman is wrong.

Because A: Hulk is the most overpowered piece of shit around and could beat any hero including supes. Unless supes 1 shots him. Only way superman can win against hulk. Oh and Hulk can totally use Mjölnir... well at least Red Hulk did. EDIT: also since he's in the .5 version of Buddhist Hulk, he's also extremely overpowered. (Buddhist Hulk controls the intelligence of Bruce Banner while still being the Hulk. AKA he's she-hulk)

B: Thor is actually a god. You got capt amuerica running around, and the Thor controlling the air, throwing lightning around. Then he throws his hammer and grabs it to fly. Which is kinda stupid but yeah.

C: Antman... cause in his actual canon background he beats his wife.

Iron Man.

Because he makes Batman look like Caveman (TM), Pepper is his GF/friend/friend-zone buddy and he is a funny badass to top it off.

Character: Hulk.
Powers: Tony Stark.
Who I'd want to be? Loki, because I get to be magic and have the powers of BS. No, not really, either of the above.

Hawkeye was pretty cool, despite not really having any character development. Shooting a guy off a flying motorcycle behind his back? Hell yeah.

Bruce Banner (not so much the Hulk) because of his great character moments.

Hello Escapist! I come witha simple question. Who is your favorite Avenger (movie verse) and why?

I put my money on Clint Barton/Hawkeye. I choose him because even if he doesn't have superpowers, he was awesome. A great asset to the team, and it's great to see a superhero with layers.
Mine too, but he is lacking his costume! Even though Marvel started drawing him with the movie suit now... but that is just wrong!

I like Hawkeye in the comics as well

Iron Man, just because he has the snappiest comebacks, best general banter, and a wonderful sense of style. Thinking back to his and Banners epic bromance, it was Stark who really brought banner out of his shell. And the fights between him and Cap? Tony Stark didn't EXACTLY start the fights, be he definitely set the tone for there grievances. Also, he fights with science.

Honorable Mention to both Hawkeye and Black Widow though. For 2 characters without movies, and without crazy abilities of the others, they still managed to be constantly useful, interesting, and badass. I genuinely wasn't sure they could stay relevant when gods and monsters started breaking shit, but they did. Now, Id watch a movie staring either of them.

Thor. That sexy, chivalrous, badass sexy god that he is. Sexy does need to be used twice. Also my avatar is of Sif, who is pretty freaking epic herself, so I'm partial to the whole Thor cast, including Loki, who was awesome in The Avengers.

He is a beautiful man.

Captcha: Bone dry. That is not exactly how I'd describe myself after Google image searching Thor. Just saying.

I actually came to post Ant-man. Pym used to use a catapult to throw himself around town early in his career. If there was a film where he does that, shouts at ants, and doesn't get taken seriously, I'd watch that.

No, I'm pretty sure renegade (correctly) ended this thread. Iron Man. Engineers for the fuck-everyone-else-we-win.

Captain. I can relate to him far more than any of the others. He was just a normal guy who refused to back down from what he knew was right.

Without a doubt in my mind iron man/tony stark. A joker who doesn't really take many things seriously (except the most important things), but just has a natural talent to succeed. He just defines awesome.

I guess Iron man, because he is a technological genius. Seriously his gadgets never cease to amaze me. Plus he took it upon himself to go toe to toe with Thor, you know, the god of thunder, the son of Odin, the ruler of Asgard, that guy.

Captain America.

Most are heroes because they have superpowers

He has superpowers because he's a hero

in the actual movie Stark entertained me the most, plus the Mark VII armor is SO cool

EDIT:: Typo

Captain America. This image sums it up.

Here he is fighting Super Skrull, an opponent that is clearly superior in every way. He knows that the odds are stacked against him and he probably will get hurt in this tussle, but he does not care. He does what is needed because it is the right thing to do.
