It's not called the Mecca of fighting games for nothing, you know.

SSBB is a good one. And is my current favorite fighting game.fullmetalangel said:Super Smash Bros, all of them, although I haven't had the honor of playing Brawl as of yet...
I never liked the more "hardcore" style of fighting games and I love the huge (in comparison at least) maps that are available in SSB.

Bloody Roar 2.
Me and my friends still play it at parties, and have been since grade 7.
This (minus the "I haven't played Brawl" bit, I play it every day).fullmetalangel said:Super Smash Bros, all of them, although I haven't had the honor of playing Brawl as of yet...

I'm going with the Tekken Series, I find it has the most intuitive control style - the four face buttons are the four limbs. Simple but brilliant. I find the characters varied but also balanced which I find is a where other series stumble. There are a few misteps- Dr. B, The Gordo Family, Tekken 4.FirstToStrike said:My personal favorite is Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, followed Soul Calibur IV, both great games with tons of playablility.
