Only thing coming to mind right now is 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time'. That was a pretty good movie...

I can't really think of any movies I like that are aimed solely at a male audience, but I guess most of the films I like aren't typically girly films. War films and action flicks and such. I really liked Saving Private Ryan, and I don't know many girls (or anyone) who like A Clockwork Orange because of all the rape. This is sort of like how women can wear trousers and it's socially acceptable in most places, whereas if a man wears a skirt then it usually isn't.

For me I'd probably have to say Sliding Doors.
Dito.
Saw this on TV 10 years ago, late at night, half awake. Liked it. Couple of years ago I remembered the film and looked for it for ages, because in my memory it was starring Cameron Diaz.

Ginger Snaps.

True it's got so much gore and violence and other stuff that boys love but all the central themes within like the female side of puberty, female sexuality and sisterly bonds that interweave within the whole 'werewolf' plot just made it seem like a female oriented sort of movie.

Admittedly though, I still think this whole 'movies for men' and 'movies for women' is all nonsense. Movies are subjective and gender rarely enters into it, if someone likes something then they simply like it.

Probably Mean Girls. I didn't care for the main characters, but the rest of the cast was pretty entertaining. Also, Tina Fey is lovely.

Umm I dunno?

It depends on what films you consider manly haha. I love No Country For Old Men, Sin City, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and all that stuff.

I guess girls are allowed to like more!

Closer, Shakespeare in Love, the list goes on...

Wouldn't it be sad if we still all lived according to our traditional gender-roles? Im' happy I don't.

I guess that I'll bang my head with you. Although, I don't see any reasons to bang my head in the first place.

OT:I remember that I used to watch Snow white a lot when I was a kid.

Mulan's not girly... I hold that Disney movies from childhood are unisex.

And for mine, I think it may be Rent. I'll be damned if those songs aren't fun to sing.

The Thing.

One guy I knew had never met a woman who liked that movie before me. So I guess that counts.
