Breakdown. Brilliant game (it has its flaws, certainly, but overall it's marvelous), but very few people have heard of it, let alone played it. Koudelka is another - the precursor to the Shadow Hearts series.

I would say Kingdom Hearts or Golden Sun, but I guess people would know about those now. So I don't really know...

I know it's been said but Golden Sun and of course Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age were just so damn epic. And Lunar Legend for the GBA, however I have not yet played the sequel. Golden Sun 3 is cming I'm pretty sure, and it BETTER be good.

Considering no-one mainstream ever heard of Warcraft 3, I'll go with that.

Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds - the game.

RTS/TBS based on the said musical based on the said radio show. Base building goes turn based, but when martians and humans start mixing in the same terratory, it goes into a protoss-zerg like battle. Still haven't beaten it, damn thing is pretty hard, but I like games that pose such challenges.

This, I loved that game took me ages to complete it as a child. Apart from that though Alunda was a great game and to this day is still one of my favourites, probably more so than Koudelka. And Tombi, 40 Winks, Baldies, Parappa the Rapper, Um Jammy Lammy, Discworld, Exhumed, Futurecop LAPD, Hugo series, Jade Cocoon and that game with the 2 Jesters all deserve an honourable mention as well.

Pandemonium is the game with the jesters. :)

40 Winks was a great game...so cute! I wouldn't call Parappa and Um Jammer unknown, though, I think most folks have played those. Well, maybe not Lammy, now that I think about it, but I think most people played Parappa.

Oh, Technic Beat, I love that game, that's another one no-one bothered with.

Killer 7

Honestly never met someone else that had ever heard of it, let alone play it. Sadly it's even rare to find people on the internet that played it/know of it.
