Honestly never met someone else that had ever heard of it, let alone play it. Sadly it's even rare to find people on the internet that played it/know of it.

Yahtzee has, no really check his video for the first review of No More Heros, he talks about it for like a whole part of the review.

Thank you so much, I've just torn my bedroom apart trying to find it to no avail, I've got the sudden craving for it now and since Starcraft has killed my PC now's the perfect time to play some old games. However I did stumble across Persona: Revalations and Vagrant Story both need adding to my list.

Koudelka is another - the precursor to the Shadow Hearts series.

This, I loved that game took me ages to complete it as a child. Apart from that though Alunda was a great game and to this day is still one of my favourites, probably more so than Koudelka. And Tombi, 40 Winks, Baldies, Parappa the Rapper, Um Jammy Lammy, Discworld, Exhumed, Futurecop LAPD, Hugo series, Jade Cocoon and that game with the 2 Jesters all deserve an honourable mention as well.

40 Winks was a great game...so cute! I wouldn't call Parappa and Um Jammer unknown, though, I think most folks have played those. Well, maybe not Lammy, now that I think about it, but I think most people played Parappa.

Oh, Technic Beat, I love that game, that's another one no-one bothered with.

i saw pandemonium on the PSN classics store so i looked it up... it looks like crap! was it good?

It was fun at the time. Not sure how it would hold up so many years later, really.

(Jumps up and down madly with hand in the air) Oh oh, I've heard of it. Sadly, I haven't played it, but bloody hell I need to fix that. It was MADE to become a cult classic. Capcom should Re-Release it on PS3, Wii, and possibly Xbox 360 (I'm a bit skeptical about the last one because it wasn't originally released on original xbox). We need more KILLER7!!

On Topic: Not a judgement, but this thread has been done many times, and in each one I always mention the same series. ANOTHER CODE!!! (Trace Memory to the americans). It has one of the best stories I've read, and if anything, the medium of gaming does not do it justice. It should be converted into a book or graphic novel. Sadly, I challenge anyone to rummage around through their own minds and find memorys or recollections of playing the game.

(The best bit is....They're making a third game! YEESSSSSSS!!!!)

OT: Most people here have heard about it, but outside of the interwebz nobody I know has heard of Painkiller. Also NecroVision is pretty awesome too.
