LEGO: Alpha Team, anyone?
Ahh, childhood memories... I still have that in my closet somewhere along with Island, Racers, Racers 2, Chess, Creator Knights Kingdom, and maybe another one or two other classic lego games...

I would have to say most of the introversion games. Uplink, DEFCON, Darwinia. All amazing games. Plus a cool multiplayer plane dogfighting game i found on steam called altitude.

Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage, for the N64. Great turn-based combat; best balanced magic system I've seen in a game; legitimately interesting story (until the tangential demon invasion at the very end).

Unfortunately it was by a no-name dev that went belly up shortly after the game released, and it wasn't really finished either. Many cut-scenes in the middle and end of the game reference things that were apparently cut. Then there's the fact that the final boss drops loot that can't be obtained anywhere else.

Wikipedia refers to it as a cult-classic, but I've never met anyone else irl that's played it.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII , the online community must have been about 20 people. Always seemed to be the same people

Hostile Waters also known as Antaeus Rising in the States, Revolutionary first person RTS where you commanded a small army through the view of whatever vehicle you wanted. Its was narrated by Tom Baker and scripted by Warren Ellis. Story was great, music was better

It.. was.. da... Bomb!

Found the Intro Movie
Watch it for it is cool

Ummm, I don't really have any ones to go here... Well, except for "Osu" which is like Elite Beat Agents (I've heard, I haven't actually seen EBA), only it's for PC.

It's brilliant and I love it. (It does have a fair amount of users online, so I guess some people have heard of it, but I've never actually seen it be mentioned in any gaming-related forums before)

I freakin' love that game! It's just a shame that they more or less removed what was so great about it in the sequel...

Steambot Chronicles! JRPG fans hates it for being different and allowing freedom; WRPG fans hate it for being cheesy and ugly. Its essentially the worst of both worlds, and yet it works!
hahahaha, STEAMBOT CHRONICLES!!! WHOOOO

i have actually never played this game. but i have a friend who has. that is a pretty unheard of game. Unfortunatly, its the butt of a joke between me and my friends. because the guy who played it was trying to sell it to us (as in, make us want to play the game) and i asked him "so... what do you like about this game"
"i ... urrm... well, its a JRPG, but you're free-er... you can jump and-"
"wow, unique feature there.. HEY GUYS, YOU CAN JUMP IN THIS GAME"

followed by sarcastic "OMGEEES you can jump... the hell is a 'jump'" etc.

so yeah, Steambot chronicles... the game where you can jump xD i've watched him play it though and it does look like a very good game.

wow that is really unexpected. a shadow hearts advert in metal gear solid 2? persona in... whatever the fuck that thing was...? funny, i have played the obscure things and have nont played or watched the things people know them from.
yeah, i know, my friends were around and were like "whats this game" and i was like "i totally saw it in that game shop today!!!" (second hand obviously).
haha, and that persona is only obscure until recently, that video's a pretty new phenomena. and its just a take mick of the game in a respectful way, highlighting how funny some parts could be :)

Second Sight has one of the best story's in a game and its on steam.

Awful controls though.
I loved Second Sight =]. I still play it occaisionally on my PS2. The story absolutely blew me away the first time I played it.
Also Body Harvest for the N64.

Road Rash? It was a motorcycle racing / fighting game for the N64. I traded one of my Kirby games for it...
