Killer 7

Honestly never met someone else that had ever heard of it, let alone play it. Sadly it's even rare to find people on the internet that played it/know of it.
Then you have never visited the escapist. Seriously I've had tonnes of discussions on this website about that game with people.

That... looks SO awesome.
It is. And there's splitscreen too, I and one of my mates played that ALL THE TIME. We never got tired of it.
It's still on eBay, so you can get it there for cheap.

Grim Fandango, I know the whole game by heart and still bust it out to play it every so often
the fact that grim fandango isn't a well known classic is a crime

it won awards it was all 90+ in reviews it was glorious

and it didn't really sell that well... and was one of the finally nails in the lid of the point and click adventure

I so desperately want to play Grim Fandango =[. My friend lent it me once but I couldn't get it to run properly on my damn PC. I love the style of it and Tim Shafer's humour and writing. It seriously depresses me that I can't play Grim Fandango

The Last Express. It's a classic point click adventure game. The music and voice-acting were supreme. Multiple endings and awesome graphics for that time (1997)

The warriors. A movie license game so good it nearly broke the rule. Seriously it was the best beat 'em up I've ever played in my life. And you can't get over the baseball furies chase music.

I don't play it much anymore, because I kinda lost it, but some years ago, when we were a 'one console' household, I bought a used game called Yanya Cabalista; City Skater. It was a skateboarding game, with a bit of a Japanese art style, and was supposed to come with a little skateboard thing to attach to the analog sticks for the (uniquely cool) control set up, which wasn't in the box.

AND IT WAS AWESOME.

It was really quirky and completely full of life. It was ridiculously fun battling strange colored ghosts with skateboard tricks. AND THEN THEIR SKATEBOARDING KING! It was a little hard, though, if I remember correctly. I never got past the first few areas.

This surprises me. I thought most people knew about the Abe games
That's why I said it's not that obscure. It's just the most obscure game that I have, which isn't saying much.

Iggy's Reckin' balls was pretty good when I was like 8 but I don't think any game that i've played lately are unheard of... Maybe Mech Assault? I haven't heard that in awhile...

Elebits for the Wii. This is one of the few Wii games that keeps me from selling mine altogether. Put aside the childish presentation by the end, you're vaccuming up houses, it's aweseme.

Carmageddon for PC. The fact that noone has picked this up and run with it for a console is mystifying to me. It was hands down, the most fun 'drive like a maniac and squish zombies' game ever made.

I was certainly a fan of Grim Fandango, but I don't exactly think it was obscure.

Original Shadowrun. That was the first RPG I ever played on a console (Genesis) and it was awesome. The fact that they made it into a multiplayer only game boggles the mind.

X-com. All of them (up to and including Apocalypse, but not Enforcer or Interceptor). It's not that NOBODY has ever heard of them, but it falls into the "games I wish I could make people care about".

I guess, if I wanted to address the post properly, I'd say Ring of Red.
