I was going to say Portal until I remembered the turrets.

I would have to go with Tenchu, pretty much all of them. They are great games which could be even better with a decent sized studio behind them.

Actually that did have a gun. The first mission was to kill a merchant who had a golden gun and if you used the cheat code you could have a gun as a weapon.

I don't think it counts if you cheat...

Now try to say that to your next boyfriend/girlfriend!

I was going to say Braid, but I remembered the turrets that shoot fireballs. Could Psychonauts count? It technically doesn't have guns. Okami as well. And Uplink. Those three.

In the first level of Psychonauts, there is that big gun/cannon thing that you have to get by. I think you have to hide behind cover and keep moving up until you get up to the cannon, and then you hit the top and that red-haired dude comes out.
